Discover %5 cashback on hotel/theme parks

I noticed on my new Discover statement that they are offering 5% cashback July-Sept. on hotels and theme park tickets. I emailed customer service to be sure this applied to Disney resorts and park tickets and was told yes. I haven't done reservations or tickets yet for our Nov. trip but thought this was a much better way to go than using my Disney Visa. I already have the $$ to pay for the trip in my vacay account so I don't need the 6 month/no interest offered on the Disney Visa this time.

But it is only on the first $300 total in the four categories. It is not per category and it is not per month. So no matter what you spend on, it will not be more than $13.50 above the standard cash rewards.
