I dont know how anyone is getting a discount for the last 2 weeks of march thru the first 2 weeks of april because of easter!Has anyone had luck???The only thing available is the american xpress discount.Has anyone had luck???

All I could get was the CBR with AMEX. It is still better than no discount. I think it is the price I paid for the same time frame back in 1997. I am only getting a 4 day park hopper so I am happy. I will not be breaking the bank.

I got a postcard in the mail yesterday that was offering up to $100 off per night at some of the deluxe resorts... AKL was the one featured for $139/night. There was a code, however... since I can't post the code here, you can PM me, and I will be glad to give it to you. It was good from April 21- June 22nd. It must be booked by 3/17/02. It didn't say that you needed to have the postcard with you on check in, but you might want to inquire when making your ressies.

It states," Right now you can save $100 per night when you stay at selected Disney Deluxe Resorts including our newest, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.... You can even receive a special discount on select Theme Park Tickets when you call to book your room."

We won't be able to take advantage of this wonderful offer this time, but hopefully, someone else might!

I think the code eeyore0062 is talking about is the CUQ discount.

I know this is a change in policy - but as long as the code is listed on the DIS DI$count page there is nothing wrong with posting it here.

BTW - I also got that postcard yesterday - first time for everything.

I was quoted discounts (called about 2-3 weeks ago, the DC 800#) on AKL and CBR. Savannah view room for $233 (tax incl.) per night for March 24-30th. Also was quoted CBR for $170 (tax incl.)/night. We chose AKL because we had already booked CBR for $199.80/night and I am definitely willing to pay 30 more a night for AKL, that was our "only in our dreams/maybe next time" hotel. So as oppossed to what others are saying about DC not offering good discounts, I think we did ok. Not sure how easy it'll be to get discounts now, or any other offers available though.
