Discounts/pins in January? ?

Hey all! Helping my brother plan wedding/vacation in Disney for January. He did get a Disney Visa per my advice.
Free dining/pins/discounts ever happen for early January? ?
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated! !

It looks like this January it will be a stay/play/dine discount and a seperate room only discount. The two can't be combined.

Someone posted in the code board that on Oct 8, R/O discounts are coming out.

Dates are: January 5 to April 12
It may be DV cardholders first, not sure.
