Discounts on Universal Passes

You can pick them up at the kiosk. Just bring your order number and the credit card you ordered with. They don't have an expiration date until you use them. They will expire 6 days after your first day of use. The first day of use is when you use them to enter the park at the turnstiles not when you pick them up.

No idea on how long it will be available. I do know they have had that offer since at least last summer though.

We are not planning on going to Universal until Dec 31, 2007. If I bought the buy 2 get 3 day (plus kids free) tickets during 2006 (220ish US) , would I still be able to use them Dec 31 (and then for 4 more consecutive days after that).

i thought I read somewhere that they expire Dec 31 2006??

Yes, you can use it on the 31st. If your first day would be the 31st, you will still be able to use the rest of your days: Your first day is on the 31st and your last day on Jan. 4.

I am sure this is posted here somewhere, but searching is not getting me anywhere. I am looking for just a one day/one park ticket. What is the best ticket discount option? I have AAA, but am in Virginia. Can I buy them at a local office, or is there other options for discounted admission: Soda cans, grocery stores, sam's club etc?
Thanks for all your help. First time to IOA, becasue I can never find time to get away from Disney.

You can purchase them at the gate and perhaps at your local AAA. I know Costco Price Club has some tickets options too. Have a great time you will love IOAl!

Is the AAA rate teh same at the gate as it would be with advance purchase? Also...is Costco similar to Sam's Club, where you have to be a member to purchase tickets there? And...does anybody know if McDonalds has coupons, or are there discounts on any soda cans?
Thanks!

Mousesavers says for 1day/1park tickets, there are 2 possible discounts. One is online ticket brokers. The other is buying the ticket online at home through the Universal website and choosing the 'print at home' option. HTH

Have a good trip! :Pinkbounc

I suggest if you value your job, that you not be selling your employee comp tickets.

I've read the last five pages of this thread and was surprised to see no mention of the Universal Excitement Pass. This pass costs $85 and is good for FIVE consecutive days of admission to both parks! Now I know that a lot of people don't want to go for five straight days, but this pass is cheaper than the standard 2 day/2 park ticket, which costs $109.95 at the gate or $99.95 online. So it's a fabulous deal even if you only want to go for two consecutive days or (I think, don't really know a lot about Universal ticket options) you want to park-hop for only one day.

It could be that a lot of people don't know what the Universal Excitement Pass is - you have to click through to "ticket details" to get the specifics. I don't know how long this has been offered, or how long it will be offered - it says it is a "limited time" offer. It is only available online.

Just bought mine today for a planned two day visit (could be longer now that we have that option!) in late August.

Actually the tickets are only $75 with tax $79.88. We are also not using all the days. We can only go for 3 days but when I saw this price I jumped on it. Have a great trip everyone.

How did you find this $75.00 ticket? I went to the Universal site and couldn't find it anywhere. Previous message said look at ticket details, but I still didn't find anything that said Universal Excitement Pass. Help!

Go to universalorlando.com scroll to bottom on the left side it says special ticket offer click on where it says "learn more" it is the first ticket listed. Good luck and have fun. It is also listed at the top of the page where it says tickets click on park tickets. :)

Thanks so much for your help. It appears my part of the country may not be eligible for the Universal Excitement ticket. I followed your directions and it offers me a "buy an adult 2 day/2 park...get a free child's ticket" option.

This doesnt sound right. The website is the same wherever you are from :confused3 I would try it again or call them directly.
