Discounts on Universal Passes

thanks for all the information, just so i'm clear, is it true that you CANNOT upgrade the child ticket that you recieve with the 2/get 3 free + kids free offer on the universal site?

My DS20 and her boyfriend want to to Universal together.....

I'm sorry, but I'm just double checking.... She (and he) can buy two day tickets to Univeral and then get 3 days of tickets free? So 5 days for the price of 2? What do 2 days costs? How many "parks" does Universal have now? Will they be able to see them all with these tickets.? Are they like park hoppers or one park per day?

They are staying at the Microtel Suites near there..... heads up please if this is a super seedy place.

Many thanks,
Beth

Let's see...

Yes, The offer is as follow: you buy your 2-day park-to-park option (same as Hopper in Disney) and choose from these three options:
1) THREE ADDITIONAL DAYS FREE - For a total of 5 *consecutives* days, from the first day of use.
2) KIDS FREE & THREE ADDITIONAL DAYS FREE - I don't think she is interest ed in this one....
3) NON-EXPIRING DAYS - only 2 days of admission but with expiring.

The price is (TODAY: Apr 17, 2006) $99.95 + Tax. This is an online price.

Universal Resorts have Two Major parks: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Yes, Five days are "enogh* to visit both parks several times. But, believe me once you taste Universal ...5 days aren't enough!!!! hehehe

About the hotel, that will depend on what she is expecting. My trip last year, I stayed in a Days Inn. Some of the hotels pages gave it bad reviews. But my experece was great. Considering that I only wanted a nice place to sleep and wash.

Hope I answered all your questions. You can always visit the official page: Universal Orlando

It will be $212 w/ tax for 2 adult tickets for the 5 days.

She doesn't need the kids tics? They are free and she will make someone's day if she gets them anyway and hands them to someone in line who is buying tics. Doesn't cost anything but the good will she'll spread...

We are planning several days at Universal BUT not until December 2007.

The current promotion (5 days for the price of 2 plus kids free) would be perfect for us. Has anyone heard anything about the possibility of this promotion being extended into 2007?

Where do you put in the code for the $20 off the powerpass? I have looked everywhere and I can't figure it out!

We just went 4/1-4/8 and the tickets that print out on this deal definitely say adult and child. My daughter is very tall at 54 in for 9, and I schelduled our vacation for 1st week in april to be able to take advantage of this deal before she turns 10. I was prepared for questions about her age, but no one even batted an eye. I handed them all our tickets and all 3 days and they just went through right through. This was our first time at universal and we really liked it we will definitely be returning.

Can anyone tell me what is the cheapest way to buy 2 day park to park passes for 4 adults? We can only go 2 days. Thanks for the help.

Costco has 4 1 day tickets (Buy 3 Get 1 Free) for $189. Its only good for one park, but even buying two sets, you might come out pretty good overall. The 2 park tickets online are $99, so the Costco deal would save you at least $10. Just an idea.

Good luck and have fun!! :)

Hey guys,

I am going to Universal and I was wondering if I would be able to use the buy 2 get 3 free deal for 2 people?
We are only going to Universal for 2 days (2 people total) and I was curious if I could use the 3 free for one person and the 2/2 pass for the other.
Thanks

No because all 5 days are on one pass. You get one ticket with 2 days plus 3 days free on the same ticket. You also do a fingerscan so no trading of tickets.

Hmm that stinx.
So what would be the best and cheapest way to buy tickets since we will only be there for 2 days.

Those tickets are still cheaper than the 2 day tickets at the gate.

phamton- I am looking at buying the 2day/3free tickets offered online. We would be going June 2007. Am I correct that I would pick up these tickets at the gate in the ticket machines (name escaping me..) when I arrive. There is no expiration listed under this ticket type.

Oops, also, any idea how long this offer will be available??
