Discounts on Universal Passes

I was planning to purchase a preferred annual pass online (or gate) and I noticed on the universal site a 15% savings Ap benefit for 2 and 3 day if purchased at front gate. Would that still apply if I purchase the AP at the same time as the 2 day passes?

If you purchase your preferred Annual pass at the gate you can at the same time recieve your 15% discount on other day tickets.

Can someone explain this, am I missing something?

What is the purpose of ordering the Preferred Annual Pass, from the AAA south office (savings of $5) and having it shipped to you if you live outside of Florida (have to pay the shipping fee), when you can just order the Pass from Universal's website and pick them up in the park. It seems like you are paying more going through AAA south.

I read how others (from NY) ordered from AAA south and had the Pass shipped, but why do this? I am trying to figure which is the best option, price wise, but I'm not getting it.

I was hoping that someone in this thread might be able to help me out. I recently noticed on Universals website that you can get $20 off a Power Pass with the purchase of a $5.00 Florida lottery ticket. There is a code that prints out at the bottom of the ticket which you just apply online.
Now, I was just wondering if anyone knows what the code is.
I'd buy a lottery ticket myself but its kind of hard buying a Florida lottery ticket from Toronto.
Thanks for your help!!!! :)

Is there any discounts for one day tickets? We have the whole week packed with a 4 day hopper pass, one day at Sea World and one day at Universal. HMM???? Any suggestions? :confused3

The cheapest 2 day/2 park tickets I've seen are at the discount orlando vacation websitre. I saw adults at $102 and children at $91 with free shipping. These are cheaper than the Universal website.

i totally agree with the above poster.
the universal website is the cheapest right now for multiday passes.
get this: 5 days, both parks $99 per adult........can't beat that.

in the entertainment book, you get a discount, buy the ticket and get $7 in universal money to spend in the park.

can't find my ent book at the moment but it is in there for a one day pass and multi day passes. with it, the universal script money.

Went to Universal Studios website but cant seem to locate the 5 days-2 park deal for $99, only saw the 2 day pass + get 2 days free (4 days total) package.

8 days left before I'm there. :moped:

looks like they took it down.

the special started in march of this year and anyone that bought that special buy 2 day 2park passes received free 3 more days also with a coupon booklet of over $2xx. for the park, hotels and city walk.

the only specials now are the mc ones it looks like.

you could go to the RIC and get the special there.
i checked and that one is still going on.

the only one day discounts that comes to mind is:

you have an ap or the universal fan club card or the coupon from the ent book.

i have the fan club card and can buy a one day ticket at a discount.

If you look on the USF official website, they have great savings when you buy tickets online. For instance, I bought two one day passes and saved $5 each. I was able to either print out the tickets on my printer or have them waiting for me at the gate. No waiting in lines.

There is a two day pass, that if you buy 2, you get a another 2 days free....hurry up on that one, as it may be gone already.

I added the express pass plus booklet for $25 more per personl. No waiting on any lines.

It was quick and easy. the only thing that sucks is that you have to state the day the tickets will be used when you buy the them. SO, you are stuck with that day, no refuns. Oh well. small price to pay.

i'd appreciate the fantasy 5 code if you got it just email or pm me.. thanks in advance!

I just bought a great special from Universal...for each adult 2-day 2 park ticket you get one kids (3-9) ticket of the same type FREE!! plus they will add 2 more days for a total of 4 days on each ticket which expire 4 days after first use......oh and they discount the adult ticket $5 toooooooo!!!

with tax I got both tickets for just $106.45 (I elected to pick up the tickets at the gate when I arrive so no shipping cost is involved with my purchase)

you are allowed to purchase up to 3 adult tickets thereby getting 3 kids tickets free.....hope this helps

Thanks for this information. I also bought my tickets with this deal. I saved almost $200 from the gate cost and $160 from the cheapest discount tickets I could find.

GREAT! Thanks for posting this! I've been waiting for this offer to come back since last winter/spring!

This is very big/important news! You should make it it's own thread!

I just bought 2 adult tickets and got 2 kids tickets free for a total of $212.90. Not to shabby! :cool1:

Hi,

I am going to buy the tickets. Thanks for the heads up. I LOVE A BARGAIN. However, I have a question. Do they ask for ID on the tickets? My husband and I are taking my son on a Monday to the park and my inlaws will take my son on Wednesday, could they use my tickets?
:cool1: :love1:
Thanks.

for my last 8 universal trips i have purchased the special deals for them.
buy a 2 day 2 park and get 3-5 more days free for $99.....

on some of the trips i had to sign a sheet of paper and they matched my signature.
on other trips nothing of that sort. inserted ticket and went thru turnstyle.

i don't know what to tell you about sharing the ticket for universa.
if you use it for 2 days or even one and the attendant has you sign your name on a sheet, then have the other person practice your signature.

not much help am i, but thats all i can think of.........

last october trip, no signature match was done for me.
