discounts on passes

What discounts do DVC members receive on passes? Is it for AP and PAPs only?

Currently those are the only passes we receive a discount on. Adults get $100.00 off AP's and $125.00 off PAP's. Kids tickets are $85.00 and $106.00 off.

DVC Members are eligible for discounts of AP and PAP both. That is the only discount offering for admission media for DVC members.

You can save a few bucks for multi-day passes and such by ordering them in advance.....but anyone preordering tickets can get that discount.

The annual passes benefit has been a long time in coming and I believe it to be very beneficial. It lowers the break even point for all of us. It greatly helps WDW because it encourages us to return more frequently during the year and spend more money than we might have ordinarily.

Hello!
Can an DVC member purchase their AP at WDW with the $100 discount or does that have to be done ahead of time?
We just bought ours yesterday and are waiting for the voucher to arrive so that we can buy the Disney Dining Experience card. My parents want to wait until we get there though and I just want to make sure they will get the discount as DVM also. Thanks!

Counting the days until our Mother's Day celelbration at WDW!
(still can figure out how to cut and paste the new counters)

DVC members can also get a small discount (believe it is $4) off the gate price of daily admission to the waterparks, PI and DQ.

Best wishes-

Yes, eligible participants can purchase the discounted pass while at WDW.

Note that those eligible is limited to the deeded owners (holding blue member ID card) and immediate family living at the same address. As long as your parents have their own DVC ID, they just need to take their blue member ID and driver's license to Guest Services to purchase the discounted pass.

Yes, we both have our blue DVC cards! Thanks so much for your quick reply.
This is one less thing to worry about now.

We bought our annual passes with the DVC discount at MGM guest services. It is not the regular ticket window, but a small window to the left and in back of the ticket windows. It is a little hard to find. I showed my ID and Member card, but my husband, 18 year old son and 14 year old daughter were not asked to show ID. I was a little surprised by that!
