Discounts on family suites?

With all the discounts that come out, do they ever include the All Star Music family suites. Like an AP discount or something along those lines?

Yes, if the room category is available, you could get a discount rate. All depends on Disney as they state limited number of rooms available.

Okay, I just want to clairify, and thought maybe you could help since you have booked this. I'm trying to help my DSis plan a trip, and really think it would be awesome if they could swing a Disney hotel (right now they have the Radisson LBV, becauset there are 3 adults & 2 kids, not many disney rooms that fit their budget at that size). The AAA website shows the family suite for their dates (1/17/09 - 1/21/09), at a rate of $173.40. Does that mean the average per night? And, does that rate include taxes? I've never booked through the AAA website before...Thanks!

HI. We're checking in on January 19th and our rate is $156.40 per night. I believe the MLK weekend is holiday pricing.

Regular rate is $184 weekday/weekend during value season, but $204 for MLK weekend (1/18, 19 and 20). Take 15% off for AAA membership per night and figure out the total cost, so it would be $173.40 per night for that weekend.

I think the family suite is a fantastic value, compared to the other Disney resorts that offer a kitchenette. The closest is the Studio at DVC, and those only sleep 4 and are one big room.

Depending on what you're looking for...We are splitting our stay between on site and off site. We already have our park tickets so we only needed a room. We were able to book the All Stars Music Suite on Expedia for $99 a night. This was for Jan 25-28th. I haven't looked recently to see if this was still available at this price.

Thanks for the Expedia tip! I just called them, and got the Family Suite for $97/night 1/3-1/7/09. We are checking in on 1/1/09, but the first two nights were not available through Expedia. We still saved $400! We will keep our reservation through Disney for those first two nights. Hopefully the transition will go smoothly! Has anyone done a split reservation like this at a resort before?

Wow . . . 99 for a suite sounds too good to be true. If you book through expedia, can you still get the "disney" goodies like the meal plan and magical express? I will have to keep that in mind for our next trip. Since our youngest is now beyond 3, we have to either bump up to 2 rooms, or do a suite for our next visit. We've just come back, so it will be a while, but I've never heard of a suite on site for just 99, and in a peak travel time too! Wow. How far out did you book it?

I just booked this morning (11/5) for 1/3-1/7/09. Yes, we also got vouchers for Magical Express. I have never booked a Disney resort on Expedia before. As I said in my previous post, we check in on 1/1/09 (reservation through CRO), so I hope splitting the reservation won't be a problem.
