We are thinking of taking our first ever Disney cruise next year. They will be sailing out of New York which is perfect for us, we wouldn't have to fly to get the ship.
Are there ever any pin codes or general public discounts on Disney cruises?

My husband and I have been itching to go on a cruise but have been hesitant with young children; a Disney cruise seems like a win/win for all of us:thumbsup2

Thanks
Laurie

Disney will run some specials on their cruises, like "kids sail free" that they're offering on Mexican Riviera cruises or the So. Californian discounts for the same MR cruises. However, you usually only see these on cruises that are not selling out. I understand that the NY cruises are selling like gangbusters and that prices have increased greatly since they opened up the bookings. So I wouldn't count on seeing any discounts.

Until Disney has all 4 ships sailing next year I wouldn't plan on seeing much in the way of discounts universally on all their ships. The best way to cruise as cheaply as you can on Disney is to book as soon as they open up the itineraries.

Thanks for the tip:thumbsup2 I would much rather sail out of NY since we are just across the river than have to fly somewhere to catch the ship! Based on what I'm seeing with prices it might actually be cheaper to fly somewhere and catch the ship though:confused3. I also HATE to book now since we wouldn't be sailing until next June and we still have our Nov 2011 trip to pay for:eek: DH might go off the deep-end!!!
Thanks again,
Laurie

The only other way to get a "discount" that I have seen is with offers from travel agents. Costco offers A % of the fare back in Costco Cash, some travel sites/agents offer cash back, or free insurance, or an onboard credit.
