Discounts on Cruise Cost

Do annual passholders, disney club, or american express holders get a discount on the cruise at all? We're looking at taking our family of 5 next Aug. and the cost is astronomical ($5800). I need any help you can give in getting this cheaper. Thanks!

We are a family of 5 cruising this November, which I would assume would be more of an off season than August, and we are paying about $750 less than that. I booked through AAA which gives you each a refill drink mug ($175.00 add'l savings) 10 months in advance and I paid with AMEX which allowed me to add on the White Glove Package for another $60.00. That package gives me an add'l $250 onboard credit, discounts, free 8x10, priority Palo seating, pin and bag.

Again, I am going this year and not in a summer month so I am not sure how my price would compare but there are at least some deals to be had if you look around.

We are a family of 5 traveling for $3800 in November. (2 months from today...yea!) We booked early and reserved 2 connecting rooms. I used Costco travel, which discounted the trip by 10%. Fall is less expensive than summer....any chance of cruising in an off peak month??

If I've been getting the information right, you would probably save around $2,000. if you wait until the same time 2004. If you book it as soon as the rates come out which should be any time now, you will get a monsterous early booking savings. We wanted to go next year too, but as we started looking into dates that were available in 2004, we saw the prices start to drop dramatically!

I actually have my ressies for 2004 on hold with my travel agent who forwarded them to the appropriate dept. at DCL and the day the rates come out, I have my rooms. (hopefully! )

I'll let you know what the difference in a year is as soon as I find out!

I know it's probably an impossible thing to think about waiting a whole other year, but I just thought you might want to know.
