I'll admit I didn't check to see if someone else posted about this but I wanted to send out the word about something.
I made ADRs and a Backstage Magic tour reservation this weekend -- yes I was part of the madness on Sunday! Anyway, I went to make a payment on my credit card today and noticed that the pending charge for my tour payment was too high. So I called WDW TOUR right away and they told me what the full price was. (I have a Disney Visa and should have gotten 20%? off.) Well, I was charged the full price. I explained that I had the Visa. First he tried to tell me that maybe they weren't offering the discount "at that location." I said - what location? It's a tour. He backtracked and said that with the new system it probably hadn't gone through - that even though the CM clicked the right buttton, the system didn't "take" it.
He said my only remedy is to wait until the day of the tour and ask for a partial refund at that time. Well, I don't particularly like that suggestion. CMs have to be able to do refunds over the phone in order to process cancellations. So I'm going to try calling again tomorrow b/c this is a completely unsatisfactory result.
So check your credit card statments for all prepaid items if you used Disney Visa, DVC, AAA or anything for discounts!
