Discounts in June..New to this

I just booked 3 nights room only at the Polynesian for the end of June. It was rack rate. Does Disney ever come out with discounts or codes or something? Normally we stay at the DVC Villas as we are members. After the Poly we'll be at BCV for 6 nights and I don't have enough points to use for the Poly.

We aren't AP holders because we only do 2 parks per year and don't have a Disney Visa. Will there possibly be any codes/discounts in the next 6 months?

Sorry to say, but for the last 2 years discounts in June were pretty slim pickin's Guess they don't have much trouble filling resorts at that time of year.

For check ins between 4/15/07-6/2/07 package discounts for general public became available on 1/11/07, exp 2/18/07
For check ins between 4/15/07-6/2/07 Florida resident room-only rates became available on 2/22/07, exp 6/2/07
For check ins between 6/3/07-8/4/07 Annual Passholder room-only rates for Deluxe/DVC resorts became available on 5/16/07, exp 8/4/07
For check ins between 6/3/07-8/4/07 Florida resident room-only rates for Deluxe/DVC resorts became available on 5/17/07, exp 8/4/07

With no AP/FL Res/VISA it doesn't look like there would have been much to help you out the last 2 years BUT you never know what WDW will offer this upcoming 2008 year.

I received a slight room discount and free ticket upgrade for our May 31st through June 9th, 2007 vacation. It saved me over $350.00. I've already booked our May/June, 2008 vacation and I purchased base tickets only with the hopes that they'll give free ticket upgrades again. If not, I'll just upgrade my tickets upon arrival.

Thanks everyone. That's what I thought. One can only hope. We;re going to stay there anyway because we always wanted to and it'll be a surprise for my DH and girls. I wonder if I rejoin AAA if there'll be a discount through them.

We were able to save about $250 on a package with AAA this past June when there were no other discounts available.

I wouldn't count on it, so be willing to pay rack rate or have a backup plan.
