Discounts in December?

Considering a Christmastime trip--does Disney ever offer general public code discounts for this time, or are they already so busy at this time that they don't ever offer one then? If they have offered a discount to the general public that includes a December time frame, when do they typically announce it? Thanks!

If you look over at mousesavers they have a historical code calendar and they do indicate there are discounts over that time. The December discounts were usually announced in August or Sept. http://www.mousesavers.com/historicalwdwdiscounts.html#codetrends
I used a "free dining" code this past xmas ('10). The last day to check in was something like the 22nd of Dec but it was good for the length of the stay.
