Discounts for the rest...

Are there discounts available for people who:
1. Don't have an AP.
2. Don't have AAA.
3. Don't live in Florida
4. Can't wait until the last minute to book (due to OCD).
5. Don't know anyone who works for Disney.

I'm trying with all my might to plan a trip to WL next Nov but I'm just not sure I can afford it!

Well, no.

If you don't have AAA, aren't a Florida resident, Annual Passholder or a friend of a CM, you'll pretty much have to wait until the last minute for any discounts that may become available to the general public. That's just the way it is!

You can book something now at full price and then hope for a discount later. I would advise booking what you can afford, and then if discounts come along, you might be able to upgrade for the same price or less.

It may very well be worth it to sign up for AAA - it was $46 for my husband this year and we ended up saving 20% a night on our stay in Sept. at CBR - this totalled a savings of $301.00!!! You should check first on any AAA rate when they come out (you can check directly through Disney) because AAA rates vary on season and resort type.

We have APs but not too certain that Sept. will offer any AP rates - and yes, definitely keep an eye on mousesavers.com for great discounts.

If you read her information, you can actually learn alot about saving $$$ not only on lodging but on transportation and food - it will definitely come in handy.
