Discounts for First Week of December

Hoping there will some type of discount for the 1st week of Dec. this year, since Pop Warner isnt until the 7th. Does anyone remember how it worked in previous years when Pop fell around the 7th? Thanks

I'm hoping that this isn't a sign of the discounts for December but when we were at the Poly last week the bounce back offer was only for Nov 30 - Dec 4.

I'm assuming it will take quite some time for Disney to announce free dining for December 2013. BUT, I really hope that they offer it for the Dec 1-7, 2013 time frame due to Pop Warner not being there.

May not be the type of discount you are looking for, but was able to book that time period at BC with a room only AAA discount a few months ago. Hope that helps!

Not only that, but we have been that week for the last 4 years. In years past for that week and otherwise, if we checked in during a bounceback period and if it didn't run until the end of the week, they would still give us the bounceback rate for the whole week. This year, we checked on bouncing back to that week, and they told us the rate was only good until the 4th, and we would have to pay rack rate for the rest of that week. It made the price significantly higher than we have paid each of the last 4 years. Several of the weeks we were looking at possibly bouncing back, had the bounceback rate for only half the week too. It made me wonder if WDW was intentionally cutting dates off mid-week, so that people who went for a full week from weekend to weekend would only get the discounted rate for part of the time.
