Good day everyone
We are staying in a 1 bedroom at BCV end of May first week of June. Instead of using our points for Friday and Saturday, we made a cash reservation using a discount code (AX-)through CRO. Since we are first time AP holders (bought last September and using them for the 3rd time this year), I opted to go through CRO for this "room only" reservation hoping that AP discount codes will be available SOON. If I were to book this same room NOW thru DVC I would save a total of $40.00. However, if & when an AP code came out, DVC wouldn't be able to honor that discount code.
Did I do the right thing booking "room only" reservation thru CRO and hoping for an AP discount code? OR
Should I use the DVC discount for this cash reservation?
What experience have you had with AP discount codes (percentage off/$ saved vs. DVC discount)?
In total, on average who provides the greater savings-DVC or AP's?
Help!!! What would you do?

Thanks in advance!
