Discounts at Spencers ????

According to the offical AP web page, Spencers is suppose to offer the 10% (think 10%) discount to Universal AP holders. I went into my local Spencers on 2 different occasions, had 2 different sales people but got the same response.. sorry we do not give a discount also said they never did?? I wans't sure where to post this question so I figured I would start here. Has anyone else come accross this problem?

The same thing happened to me. I had the manager come up front after being told no discount with my AP. Manager said they no longer gave the discount. I asked as of when but didnt get a clear answer. I even showed him the sleeve to my AP but he still said no.
