Discounted rooms at SSR?

Please tell me if I am correct???

I seem to remember that the official WDW site last year offered discounted studio rooms at SSR at certain times of the year. I cannot find any record of this on the historical discounts page on a couple of websites.

Anyone have a record of this? We're hoping to go July, '08 and would love to pay a Moderate price for a studio at SSR!

We aren't Florida residents nor do we have AP's.

Does anyone else recall this being offered, and if so, what the dates were?
