I stopped into the BJs warehouse today and found Disney gift cards. If I remember correctly they were: $100 for $95.67, $25 for $23, and they also had $50 but don't recall the price. It isn't great savings but it is something. Plus you can pay with any credit card there, unlike Costco where you need to use debit. I'm not a member of BJs but there was a free 60 day membership in the Sunday paper. So now I have to see if any of my CCs will give % back at BJs.

Costco takes a credit card. I use my Amex there each and every time I go.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm going to go check this out on Monday. I'm planning on purchasing a Disney dooney on our trip next week, and every little bit of discount helps!

I believe that's the only credit card Costco accepts, Amex. When we were members we opened an Amex account just so we can charge our purchases.

Yes, Costco takes Amex but that's it. BJs accepts ALL credit cards. So you get to pick which one gives you the best rewards. I don't have an Amex so I have to pay with my debit card each time I shop at Costco.

If you are a D23 member or have a Disney Visa CC there is a 15% off offer from Sept. 17 - Oct. 14. I know it has to do with their new baby line but it doesn't specify that it's only good on baby items. I read the fine print on both and couldn't find the specifics. It's worth a shot using this on your purchase.

You can get an AMEX with no annual fee just for being a Costco member. It also has a cash back reward.

Yes thank you. But I don't need yet another credit card. I have 2 and that is more than enough.

I went today and my local BJs did not have any Disney gift cards. :( I am going to keep checking back, but I hope others have good luck!

Looks like it's only good on select baby items.

another thing to note at Costco...you only get rewards on your AMEX at costco with the Costco AMEX. The other AMEX rewards cards don't get points/cash for shopping here.

Why would I spend $95.67 for $100 in Disney Gift Cards when I could spend $92 (4x$23) for $100 in Disney Gift Cards? Sounds fishy, or at least not accurate.

I came across this old thread when looking at options other that Target for Disney gift cards. You can use any credit card with a work around at Costco. You can buy Costco gift cards with any credit card online and then use the gift cards in the store. It is one more step, but worth it for my 1.5% cash back from my MC. There is no way to replenish the card so you have to keep buying new ones. Wish they would add that as an option.

Also, it is my understanding that you don't even have to be a Costco member to buy at their web site.

I know this is an old thread but it was titled appropriately so.....

We have a short trip coming up this weekend. My sister and I went to our BJ's and got discounted Disney Gift Cards. When we checked out.....there was a coupon on the bottom of our receipts. Mine was $10 off $100 and my sister's was $15 of $150.

I don't know the reasoning behind it because I actually spent more than my sister:confused3

Anyway, I just went back and used the $15 off for 3 of the $50 gift cards (47.99 each) and a Laundry Detergent :laundy:

It popped out a $5 off $50 coupon on my new receipt :)

I think the receipt says it's good until 12/18.

Every little bit helps :)
