Anyone get the 10% AP card in their Mickey Moniter? Can I use the card myself and save an add'l 10% off the DVC discount price? If so, that means I'd also get a gift card for $25 for each AP I bought...so I'd get an AP for normal price MINUS $100 discount MINUS an add'l 10% MINUS $25.

Can I do this? Anyone....?

Chesire - I have 4 cards. I will be there within the time frame necessary. Can I purchase 4 AP's for my family...get the DVC Discount PLUS the add'l 10% off? PLUS get the $25 gift card per AP sent to me for using the card? I wouldn't actually activate the AP's until next trip though...

Also - I have 3 extra cards, I'd be happy to mail out... first 3 pms' get them....

If you got the card, then you're a current passholder -- and the coupons are unfortunately not good for renewals. But if your passes expire before 7/31, I think that might work.

I was told on another thread you can't use the 10% off on a new AP and get the DVC discount. Hope someone proves me wrong....its either DVC discount OR the 10% off.

You have to purchase actual AP's at the gate, so you could do almost everything you want, but it would be AP's starting the date you purchase them at the gate. You can't purchase vouchers to be activated later with the 10% coupon. Whether this is cost-effective depends on when your next trip is...

"If you buy an Exchange Certificate at a WDW Ticket Window or Guest Relations Office this does not apply; it must be an original purchase (not at renewal rates) of an active Annual or Premium Annual Pass."

I'm trying to find a way to use the offer also - so I know you can't 'buy now, activate later'!

At the ticket windows we sell both "live" APs as well as exchange certificates (vouchers).

A live AP is valid starting the day of sale and valid through the same date the following year.

An exchange certificate is usually for a gift or some other reason; it has to be exchanged for a live AP at a future date.

The special offer is only for the sale of live APs. The Automated Ticketing System does not have a screen or line item for discounted vouchers so the system will not allow one to be sold. And we do not have control of the prices; when we sell a ticket ATS determines the price(s) to be charged.

So your idea will not work.

You don't have to use them, but they must be active at the time of purchase as has been said. Whether that can still be cost effective to you depends on your future travel dates.
