Discounted Annual Passes - Information and Official Exchange Thread

I am still very confused. I have the discount card in hand. Now, if I purchase two vouchers and have a friend who is going to Disney in June activate the vouchers with the discount card, will I get a refund for the 10%?

Or would it be better to have give him my discount card and have him purchase two annual passes for me? (can someone actually purchase annual passes for someone else?)

Do you currently have AP's & got a Mickey Monitor with the vouchers or did someone send you a voucher?

Is the discount card you're referring to the voucher from someone's Mickey Monitor that they sent to you?

I don't think someone else can purchase your AP for you, but I could be wrong.

If you currently have AP's, then you can not use a voucher to purchase a new AP for yourself.

If your AP is expiring before this offer expires, then I don't know what the procedure is.

1. Does the recipient have to be unrelated, or living at a different address than the giver of the referral card? i.e.: can I use one of my referral cards to get a discount on my son's new AP? Does the fact that I'll be paying for it make a difference?

2. Can they be used on APs purchased at a reduced rate through SOG? I don't know anything about how those SOG APs work, but the FAQs specify the discount can't be used on APs purchased on military bases; does SOG count as a military base, or is it considered a WDW ticket window???

1. I know you can give the pass along pass to your son. We (my husband and I are AP holders) were in WDW May 2 and my son purchased a new AP. At the time, no Mickey Monitor and we were completely unaware of the offer. The CM selling it to him made no mention, she knew we had APs. Anyway we will be doing a mail in refund to get his 49. back and to have my gift card sent to me. It was a long ordeal, no one at the WDW ticket number knew how to recify (we live in NJ and were home when we found out). Finally I emailed the address that Cheshire Figment added to the 1st post and we are mailing in all the necessary documents to get it. So, yes, you can refer anyone!

2. I'm not sure of Shades of Green but if you follow the link in the first post, I believe the answer will be in the link or in the post itself. There is a Q & A section on WDW site through the link in th e first post.

I did get your PM and just replied. I will put the coupon in the mail to you first thing in the morning. One is all you will need because you can buy up to 6 AP's with it.
