Discounted Annual Passes - Information and Official Exchange Thread

I just returned from WDW with my husband and daughter and new son-in-law. On May 14, we went to the Guest Relations at Studios to see about upgrading the kids' 4/3 tickets (we were there on a separate reservation) using our AP discount card. The cast member was very excited -- she said it was the first time anyone in her area had "done one," and, although there was alot of paperwork involved (it took about 10 minutes), she was able to use our discount for them. So, if you are planning to upgrade from the 4/3, don't worry: it can be done. It's just a little slow!

Thanks for the confirmation. As a note, it generally always takes a while to get a AP because of all of the info they have to input and if you're an DVC member, it's even longer.

Just a reminder that you can apply the value of your valid tickets to your AP purchase and still get the 10% off. You can even apply your free birthday ticket to the purchase and even if it's a DVC AP which is $100 less than a regular AP. As long as it's done in person for an active AP before the deadline of July 31. Heck, you can even get a refund if you purchased after May 1 and did not have the 10% card at the time.

I am a current annual pass holder. I received 4 free passes to give out from disney for 10% off the price of a new annual pass. You can buy up to 6 annual passes with each discount card.

The AP must be purchased at the Theme park main entrance ticket window only, between May 1, 2009-July 31, 2009, and only for a new annual pass or premium annual pass only. Not good on renewals or with any discounts such as dvc.

If you would like one of the four passes i have for the discount, let me know and send me your address. Please only ask if you can use in the time frame given so that others can have one if they will be going.

I was able to get a pass along card from a fellow diser
I have a few questins:
Do I take the card to a ticket window in any park or guest relation?
Do they take 10% off the total(getting 2A 2C AP's). Or before taxes?
If we pay to park at the park to get the AP's do they refund you the parking fee?
Do I need to have the person refering me there?
Is this total correct for 2Adults 2Child (3-9)
