Discounted Annual Passes - Information and Official Exchange Thread

Why oh, why could they not have made it expire at the end of August instead of July.

My sister's family is coming down with us August 19th and they are wondering about getting AP's since they are from Atlanta and could get there rather easily but they've never had AP's. This would have given them the perfect incentive to buy them and then visit for 3/4 day weekends.......they have just started thinking about doing this since our trip in April (they just had one day passes).

Between our family and her family, we would have saved $225. So we miss it by 19 days. What an absolute bummer!

I have 4 cards that will probably just be wasted. What a shame.

Yep we are going back in August with guest. I sure my sister would have bought on to tag along on our Feb trip.

Couldn't they just buy them now using the discount and then activate them when they arrive?

No. You can only use the card in person at WDW, and you cannot buy an AP voucher (i.e. the deferred activation) at WDW.

Unfortunately, it does not apply to AP renewals.

I posted not far above, and its in the very first post.

No, you cannot purchase now but activate later. You can ONLY purchase in person at WDW, and if you do, it is a FULLY ACTIVATED AP.

As for the Seasonal Pass, no it is not covered. It is only for Annual Passes.

And its only for new APs, not renewals.
