I can confirm that I was NOT asked for the first name!

I also was lucky enough to get a CM who knew exactly what needed to be done to bridge our 7-day base NE tickets to AP's, deducting the $100 DVC perk and using the 10% Referral card!

A special "thanks" to Cheshire Figment for all the great information! I walked up to Guest Relations with confidence!

Great to hear! I made sure all the people I sent discount cards to had my first name but it made no sense to me that it would be needed to use the cards.

I used one of these cards on Friday morning and was asked for the first name of the person that gave me the card.

It just happened to be my own so all was good. I used one to buy my DD's Annual Pass.

I also have 3 more if anyone is interested.

Can anyone verify that the first name is needed?

I used a referral card that I got from someone on these boards this past Friday. I was not asked for the person's first name.

I used one on Friday also, and I wasn't asked for the person's first name. It must depend on the CM.

I upgraded my park hoppers to APs at Magic Kingdom Friday evening.
