Ok, I am going for only one day in May. We are planning to go to two parks to please all in our group. Is there anywhere I can get discount park hopper tickets for one day? Thanks!!

None that I've seen, at least for the general public. If you're planning a return visit, maybe you can look into a multi-day ticket and add no expiration.

Basically, the more days you go, the less expensive it is per day, once you get above 3 or 4 days. Short visits can be expensive, especially when you add park-hopping, which is the same price no matter how many days you're going.

No discounts. If you're military, there are options that may be less expensive, but only because you don't pay tax on the ticket.

Disney does not discount one or two day tickets, even to the authorized resellers. You lowest price for one or two day tickets is at the gate. Due to this, any of the authorized resellers will add a premium over gate to the one and two day tickets. The only exception to this is if you are eligible to access Shades of Green, you will still pay a premium above the gate price, but you will save (a very small amount of) money by not having to pay the sales tax.
