DIscount thru the WDW reservations number?!

Question:

we booked our package for November 2006 thru 407-wdisney.

now.

what happens if say htey do a free dining package like i have read that they did last fall,

or they have a special or a discount code or the like...

will disney apply this to a previously booked pacakge? or if its prior to 45 days prior departure, would i have to cancel it all and rebook?

what happens if the promo happens within 45 days prior to departure? does anyone know if i would still be able to take advantage of the discount even tho i at that point will have paid in full?

All you do is call and apply the code, they will honor it, no problem.

FYI,,,the free dining plan was in September during value season (with a couple of days into the beginning of October). If we see it again, it would probably be during this same timeframe (value season/hurricane season) ...however, Disney seldom repeats promotions like this. With this in mind, remember the free dining promotion was done so that folks would take advantage of the dining plan and see what a great deal it was. This promotion was very successful and now the dining plan is a big hit with disney--with them even offering it to their DVC member in April 2006. I personally don't see Disney doing this again, as the word is out and they don't need to push it. Of course, JMHO, and would think real hard again about throwing a quick trip together if it happens again. Yes I took advantage of it in September and it was great. It made a hit with our family.
