sorry i'm new to this i could really use some help with these discount rates could somebody explain some of them like loews and the entertainment rate or anything else i'm just lost looking for a starting point

AAA is probably your best bet (only rack rates are out for next year thus far....we anticipate AAA rates sometime in Sept), you have Annual PassHolder rate (APH), Fla. resident, the Universal website has SuperSaver rates (not out for your dates tho....usually closer to your travel time they may appear). I haven't heard of anyone getting the ENTertainment rate as of lately...dunno what happened there. Most here use their AAA or APH rates on their rooms. What you CAN do, is book your room and pay the deposit of 1 night using the rack rate. When AAA releases their rates, call the hotel and ask them to switch your rate to AAA rate (or, if you have an AP, you will be able to change it to that once they release AP rates --- usually 3-6mths prior to your trip.

Hope that gets the ball rolling for you :goodvibes

thanks about what % is aaa discount i don't have the card at this time i was wondering if it is woth getting for the discount

If you don't have it, I would consider getting it. Not only will you save the cost of what you get your membership for, but you will get AAA discount at the shops and restaurants too....saves a lot of money!

AAA will get you 10% off all food and merch in the parks and city walk.
you can get up to 20% off the onsite hotels.

it is worth it.
in the chgo area where i live, i pay $49 a year for membership.
with it i use the AAA card for discounts at many resturants all over and on line shopping for walmart, target, etc.
you get a listing from the AAA site of where it is honored.

also good for the car........flat tires, run out of gas, towing, etc at no charge to you.

my son locked the keys inside his car at my house. he is not a member but i am. i called AAA and they had a locksmith at my home in 25 minutes.

the charge was $65 for a one minute job. i paid nothing, it was billed to AAA

you can also get free road maps and have your route marked out for you by AAA.
they can also make room ressies and book packages for you for most trips.

very sweet

OH YEAH!!!! That's right....you CAN use it for that too...I forgot....thought it was just for Universal discounts :rotfl:

i received my new entertain book last week.
the ENT rate is not a good deal. it works like a rebate program.

yea, bubba's mom, who would have thought that AAA was good for vehicles..
