Is there a room discount offered to DVC members that want to stay at another resort and not use their points?

No.

Nope. Member discounts are only available at the DVC resorts for the members. And they may not be available at all times. Just depends on availability. Use a Disney Club, AP or AAA discount if you need one.

Ok thanks just curious as we are staying at OKW in Dec and are moving for the weekend we like to see as many resorts as we can when we go to WDW. Our Dis Club card expired and it is no longer valid but with all the codes out there it really shouldn't be much trouble getting a cheap room someplace on property.

We have APs and got a great rate for one night at AKL last year.
