Discount question...

HI,

I'm headed to the world in June...My friend and her family are probably coming down also...I have an Ap and I am a DVC member...is there anyway I can help them by getting a discount? I don't have enough points to rent them but with the AP could I book the room and give them the discount?????

Is there anything I can do?

I doubt it. I think that if you book a room with the AP discount you have to be on the reservation. I don't think you can book a room for a friend, using your AP, and then not be staying in the room.
But, I could very well be wrong.

You could rent them your points, and put yourself on the AP discount. AP discounts cannot be transferred.

Or they could possibly rent points for a DVC stay through David's service, over on the DVC boards.
