Could someone please PM me the website ? my girls I know are going to want to trade....just can't afford $100 right now on ebay to get them both started. tia!

The pins that I usually purchase from e-bay run me on average of about $2.25 per pin. I do not bid more than that amount unless I absolutely have to have a certain pin.
You can get sedesma pins for a lot less, but they're quality is not as high as the 'normal' disney pins. As I'm sure you have read on other posts, the sedesma pins are good to trade at WDW parks.
There is another type of pin that is better than sedesma but not as good as the 'normal' disney pins. They are called propins and are made for Disney parks outside of the U.S. (this is how I understand it.) You can find propins for as little as $1.75 (+S&H) on this website: www.mousepinsonline.com
I have ordered from them recently and I plan on placing one more order from them before I leave for WDW in mid-July.

Don't make the mistake I just did. I bought 43 Christmas pins from e-bay for my kids to trade and they are all BEAUTIFUL so my kids kept them. Now I have no traders :confused3

:rotfl: One of my boys is a "keeper" not a "trader"! We have this problem all of the time!

That is too funny. We have the exact same issue with our DD. We bought a lot of 100 pins and probably had to keep about 50 of them!

She loves playing her pins.

Well, at least I am not alone! When DH travels, the boys and i will have a Disney day. Movies, Scene-it, and I pull out a handful of new pins to make trading all the more interesting.

Isn't that good though? One of the goals of pin trading is to get pins that you like. You accomplished your goal right off the bat. I'm not sure what you paid for your pins, but if they were in the $2.50-$3.00 range & you got a bunch of keepers, I'd be happy. Now if you paid more because they're better pins, then you'll obviously have to search for the lower priced lots in the future. But getting 43 keepers is a nice haul. But I will admit it is more "exciting" to trade for a keeper.
