Discount on Photopass CD

Hi all

I know this was a big topic a couple of months ago - but I am wondering how it resolved itself. I am renting points from a dvc owner at the end of Feb. Is there any way for me to either pre-order the photopass CD or obtain a discount for a CD? I have read that other non-renting people staying on site are able to get arrange for the $100 CD after they get back but I am unclear if (and if so, how) this discount is available to me as a renter.

I don't think you can get it, only the member. The practice for DVC members now is that we have to call Member Services to get the code. You could ask the owner if they would be willing to call for you and find out -- I know the codes are supposed to be only for the family that is named in the offer (for the e-mails received by non-DVC members who booked through CRO), but I don't know how or if they are monitoring that for DVC members or not.

I agree. I don't thi qualify for that discount. You need to either book through Disney or be a DVC member. You got a great discount by renting from a member for your room, that is much greater than the one you would get for photopass. You already got a great discount and I would be happy with that.
