Do you get Discounts on a regular park hopper or do you only get discounts for AP? I found the discount for AP which was actually a lot :cool1: but I was wondering how much of a discount you would get for a park hopper for ex. 6 days.

You do not get a discount a park tickets only on the annual pass. Many people myself included do buy tickets from online sellers for example: undercover tourist to save on a 6 day ticket.

There are no Member Discounts on daily theme park admission. Members get a savings on Annual Passes, daily water park tickets and daily DisneyQuest tickets.

Since you have posted that you are considering purchasing DVC, the AP discount is a perk and not guaranteed in our contract. This discount could be eliminated or changed at any time so don't factor in things like this in your decision to purchase. When I first joined DVC, this perk did not exist. I'm glad we have it and hope they don't eliminate it, but they could.

There is no such thing as a "DVC Discount" related to any Annual Passes (No matter what Member Services says).

There are two separate categories (or price ranges) of Annual Passes. The lower price range is for Florida Residents and for DVC Members. And the higher price range is "Tourist", which is people who do not qualify for either of the other categories.

And of the six possible DVC Member AP types, the price difference from Tourist ranges between $115 and $149.

Regular and Premium Annual Passes have the same privileges, no matter which price range they are in.

Do you happen to remember when the DVC Member APs were first offered? If I had to guess, I would say we've had this perk for at least five years but I can't recall exactly when they first became available for purchase.
