So I filled out the survey provided by disney visa the other night and I noticed one of the questions said "did you know when you purchase your MYW tickets using disney visa card you save 10%". Well I didn't know this, how do I go about applying this discount? Does it just happen automatically on bill or do they want a code put in somewhere. I looked on the disney visa reward site and don't see any mention of it.

Thanks for the help!

What?????????? I just got off the Disney Visa site and there were ZERO offers for WDW. I didn't look through all the merchandise offers.

I would like to know this too. I did use my Disney Visa to purchase MYW tickets in February and I was not offered a 10% discount. There was nothing in the special offers section on the Disney Visa website either. Believe me I checked that thing for weeks. The only discount I have gotten is 30% off Photopass using the Disney Visa.

Really I didn't know this either. I wonder if we should call Visa and check to see what they say????

Like I said the first time I ever saw this was filling out that survey the other night. I will try to call them but I have to go to work this evening. Hopefully we can get some answers to this! :flower:

I looked thru all the offers on the website and couldn't find any mention of it.

The survey was an email with a link from Disney Visa. I got the survey too and noticed the question about the 10% discount on park tickets - I had never heard of this either. I'm also interested in seeing if anyone can clear this up.

hhhmmmmmm :scratchin be interesting to know..........

I saw this one, too, when I was doing the survey yesterday. I have never seen anything about this discount on the Disney Visa Web site, either. If anyone gets any information about this, please post it. I have to buy tickets for our trip in December and 10% off would be a pretty significant savings for my family of four.

I watch the Disney Visa offers pretty close. I have not seen anything about this one. Would be nice for them to finally put an offer out there that I can use.

Go Illini!!!

I took the survey this morning and it did say this. I gave the disney visa a pretty poor rating because there has not been anything for disneyworld since the new program.

I'm on the phone right now with Disney Visa and she's looking at my account. I'll let you know when I'm off what I find out.

The person I spoke to had no clue what I was talking about. She didn't even know what there was a survey and didn't know anything about the Disney package MYW. DUH!!!!!! Having this card isn't worth it. After my Disney trip I'm cancelling it.

I agree....we all need to "voice" ourselves at the displeasure of special discounts or such for using their card. Besides the 1%, what's the incentive to use it??? If you're not going to get any extra discounts, what's the point?? You could be using another credit card - earning points you'd actually use!!

There are other threads on this "discount" that Visa listed on their survey. No one seems to know what they are talking about-even Bank One/Chase. You do get a discount on tours at WDW-I just booked and asked them. It was 20%.

I did the survey this weekend. I thought it was a "trick question".

I did too, since it said something about "MAY have heard" or worded in such a way that I was wondering if they were sticking things in there that may or may not have ever been offered. There were a couple other ones I had never heard of too.

I don't remember mine specifically giving an amount, I thought my survey just said a general "Park Ticket Discounts" - which I said No to but wasn't sure if maybe they were implying the discount on the tours, etc... Since I don't remember that being an option.

I know one of the other things was about specific offers that were only available on-line. That stuck out to me since I knew you could check offers on-line but the ones I always see, seem to be the same as the ones that come as inserts in my statement.

Of course, it was a few days ago that I took the survey and don't remember every single thing they asked.

Did the survey, too. My jaw dropped at the 10%, too. It also asked if I knew that certain offers were only available to DisneyVisa people who had registered online. I've BEEN registered online, and I still have received NOTHING in the way of offers.
I also expressed my extreme displeasure with this card. It's one thing if they choose not to offer anything once they have us, but to insinuate that offers ARE available is baloney.

I have the card, but have never used it because of the low incentive. Citicard is paying me 5% (sometimes 6%) at grocery store and gas station. I got the Disney Visa because they gave me $100 Disney Dollars when I signed up. I have never used it since. I would love to hear of discounts on park tix! :cool1: Please keep this thread going until we know for sure.
