I think Disney is catching on. I was checking out the discounts for sept to see about doing a weekend trip and stumbled across a 15% discount rate on the campsites. :thumbsup2 Its nice to see Disney is starting to offer little discounts for the campers too. Hopefully it will stay like that and I could maybe have a little hope that they will offer a discount for Christmas of 2015:). I have countdown ready and the minute we hit the 499 day mark I am booking. Not taking any chances. I have been wanting a camping trip to the Fort at Christmas time for a few yrs now. :santa:

The WDW discounts always apply to the cabins but not the campsites. AAA has some discounts also. Holiday seasons are blacked out from discounts.

Not sure if I can put the link here on the forum, but yesterday I did see that there is a 15% discount on the Campsites for 8/29/14 through 10/3/14.

if you can snag a AAA rate it might be better.

My AAA rate for Sept 24 to Oct 3 is Avg 54.31 and this one is 57.61.

Every little bit helps

Welcome everyone. Glad some of you could save something. I agree every bit counts and thats a little more towards doing something else magical.

AAA ( or CAA for me) discount at the Fort pays for the membership every year.

Not including discounts on movie tickets and love the trip tik ( old one) for travelling

Just called to check on the discounts. We are staying Oct 4 to Oct 11. I was told the 15% is only until Oct 3... But the AAA is a better discount and covers our stay, BUT, it's only for preferred sites. If a preferred site works for you, AAA discounts are out there. Unfortunately we need a premium with our RV.

We recently joined AAA and I've been poking around on their site to see if I could get a discount for our Fort vacation in July. However, the campsites don't come up at all on the AAA website. Do I have to call to check on prices or am I missing something? Thanks!

Call WDW Reservations
. . . they can tell you the percentage of AAA discount (usually about 15%)
. . . they can tell you if any are available for the dates you wish to stay

And if they are not available then, keep trying. We once got ours the Friday before a Sunday arrival.

When I booked our November trip yesterday there was no discount available. But, like Denise said, I'll keep trying weekly right up to the point I pull out the driveway.

WooHoo!!! Thanks so much for the info! Called today and got a 15% discount for our days in July for a full hook-up site. I. Can't. Wait. Less than two months to go! The membership more than just paid for itself!
