Discounted Deluxe AP- looked back in the threads and didn't see this. If it was posted, my apologies!

The Disneyland Resort sent out a mailer offering a $30 discount on a Deluxe Disneyland Annual Passport. The offer is valid only on new purchases, and does not apply to renewals. The offer expires 12/31/08, and is available only for purchases made online at disneyland.com/deluxeoffer.

Although it appears that the mailing was only sent to residents in Southern California, nothing in the printed mailer or on the offer Web site states that the offer is limited to the named recipient, or to SoCal residents. Few attempted to use this offer last week and received an error message that the offer is available only to residents of Southern California, but it appears that a glitch in the Disneyland Web site has been corrected, and a few have been able to purchase these tickets using a non-California address.

Other Southern California readers have reported receiving offers for either a free one-day or free two-day admission ticket. Some of these offers were sent to Passholders who had not renewed their passes; other readers reported that the offer they receive was printed in Spanish.

I'm wondering if i were to buy it now (well the end of december), when would i have to activate it by? i'm not going till october so i dont if that would be to far in the future? has anyone bought them and seen if it has an activate by date or called in for info on them? If anyone calls disney for some reason i would really apprecitate if u could ask!! Thanks for any info :flower3:

Here is the link to a recent thread about the offer http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1978585

I know several people called and were told this offer is not for SoCal residents only, but they were having a lot of trouble with the glitch that wouldn't allow some to complete their purchase. Hopefully that glitch is fully fixed now, as it was hit-or-miss before!

I don't know the date by which the AP must be activated but it probably tells you on the details page of the offer.

Yea i looked but i didnt notice it.... i will try to look again!!! saving 30 on 4 ap's is a real help!!!!

The glitch was still there as of this morning when i tried to purchase mine (for the 5th time or so  ).

The CM I spoke with on the phone today said that they're *still* trying to work it out.

Didn't someone mention it had to be activated by April 30th? Or is that the costco one? And sucky about the glitch...I would like to buy mine soon but might just have DH grab them from costco while he is down there instead.

That's the Costco one. Strange offer--glitch in the system, lack of info...too bad! It sure would be nice for those of us outside SoCal.

The Disneyland.com/deluxeoffer was working Monday. I live in Oregon and I was successful getting my pass online at the discounted price.

Empico, can you let us know how long you have to activate it?

Sorry, azdisneylover, you're right--the Costco offer must be activated by the end of May, not April. I think krissy is remembering the Costco offer in her post, though. I don't think it's ever been mentioned what the activation deadline is for the disneyland.com deluxe offer.

It has written on the email ticket:
Annual Passport: Dexuxe
Redeem By: 01/04/2010

Anyone know of the code for this free One-day or two-day offer? Trying to help out some out of town guests. THANKS:surfweb:

From what I read on mouseplanet or micechat, it's not so much an offer, but tickets sent in the mail, or vouchers for tickets more specifically. No code.
