I subscribe to Mousesavers.com and I got a promo code from them for Little Mermaid and I was able to go before it closed.

If you can be flexible we got 1/2 price tickets at the booth in times square the day of the show for the matinee. Great seats 7th row center for a great price but you never know what is available until you wait in line and get to the window.
