I am only an occassional flier. I have heard about great potential deals on Southwest or Jet Blue from Providence or Boston to Orlando. Our last Disney Trip we flew non stop on Song and it was flawless although the flight was at 6:00am. We are flying with 3 kids (7, 4, 2) and I'm concerned about having problems getting seats together on a discount airline. My two older kids have flown twice (once to Orlando from Boston and once cross country from Boston to San Diego and back).

Has anyone experienced problems with Southwest or are my fears unfounded?

I fly Southwest frequently and have never had a problem. Same with Jet Blue. We all got seat together.

since you have kids under five everyone in your party can preboard on southwest i've flown southwest four times and never had a problem
