Let me preempt the questions and speculations and go on the record as saying that we will be holding a convention next year. It will be at the Yacht Club (the job these folks have done for us has been nothing short of SPECTACULAR), and will likely be around the same dates as this one. I plan to start pre-registration for this within the next week, so everyone can start the planning process again We can't let this board go without something to look forward to...right?

I'll release details as we have them!

I wish everyone could be down here with us to meet this wonderful, kind man named Pete Werner who started the DIS and all the wonderful moderators and webmasters and DISers of the DIS.

I can't do justice to describing the truly wonderful gathering of friends we have here at DIS-CON.

It seemed like I had known everyone for years, and yet I had never met them before except as cyber-friends on the DIS.

I got {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} from everyone that I could and I still haven't met everyone.

I am so happy to be here!!!!!!!!!

I'm resting now for the Fantasmic Dessert Party and for a few hours of ToT after getting stuck on Splash Mountain with Barb for real and Carol and Barry and Patinmn and Roger and Lowelsdad and ...well... there I go again with another rain fart...I'm forgetting names again.

Dayna and I rode Aladdin.

And well, I'm going to write names down tonight.

A gathering of friends...and friends for life.

I wish ya'll were here!!!!

Thank you Pete for having this first DIS CON and showing DH and my sis that's there's lots more people out there just like me! All of my guests had a great time - I, for one, can't wait to do it again! I was told that I WAS not a very outgoing person til I found myself surrounded by the DIS! We rule! I had loads of fun and promise to get more involved next time!

One year from now, DIS-CON II will be over! I'm anxiously awaiting any little tidbits of info about the next convention! I'm also looking forward to a possible DIS cruise in 2003.
