Disbugs Christmas: Part 8! Swinging on the Beach, WISHES & The Toad! *Photos, too!*

After returning to POLY from dinner at PT Cafe, the weather is so mild and balmy it seems the perfect opportunity to try out the Volcano Pool so all those that AGREE say AYE? I have one other AYE and of course it is DD9! We change into our suits and head out... I bring my book and camera. I'm looking forward to the photo ops!

We check out the quiet pool and DD9 thinks she would rather swim there, but I talk her into checking out the main pool and it's SLIDE! We walk around to the big pool and everyone is LEAVING? Why is that I wonder? And then I see them... the suspcious floating "Baby Ruth's" and I begin to understand the mass exodus from this pool. My suspicions are confirmed when I see the Life Guard with the "net" to fish these objects out of the pool! EEYUUW... YEEECHY POOH! (...yeah.) To 'add insult to injury' if that is possible... the slide is CLOSED? I'm telling you every time we walked over to that pool the slide was closed. NOW, we MUST walk back to the Quiet Pool!
But before we get there, we discover THE HAMMOCKS ON THE BEACH! WooHoo! We take turns pushing each other like it was a swing and having a ball! When I finally got the hammock to myself for a moment, I took this picture for the Zurgs..."NO BADSHOES!" Just wanted to prove I had the right gear!

Another stroke of luck! As I was swinging I noticed people gathering on the point at the beach... I check my watch and sure enough here comes the "Wishes" Fireworks! I am in HEAVEN! No one in my family loves fireworks more than moi! So I jump up and adjust the settings on my camera and start clicking...

Just when I think it doesn't get much better... here comes the Electrical Water Pageant! About this time we get to meet our friend, Mr. Toady! DD9 screams and refuses to get out of the hammock! I don't know how she saw him because I had to keep using my camera flash to find him for this photo!

He was cute in a hideous, amphibious kind of way! Wish I could have gotten a better picture.... he gave us many opportunities and refused to move either because of or in spite of the flash of the camera! DD9 is screaming and carrying on and I am laughing because it's just a little toady frog? Well maybe a big, fat toady frog but I think he is harmless unless you try to KISS him or something!
