Pierre never left. We were going to take him to Henry's grandma's house on Saturday, but when she told me she was planning on giving him to her sister, we didn't want to take him there. I guess there was some mis-communication between us where I thought she said she wanted another dog for herself and she thought she said she was giving it to her sister (which she never said!).

Heather I was thinking of you the other night. I was watching a show called the Dog Whisperer. This guy, Cesar Millan, talks about treating dogs as if you are the pack leader. I know we tend to like to treat dogs as little people (I know I would) but actually some "bad" dog behavior can be immediately remedied by this role reversal. Here is the website:

i love them all and what a adorable lil man ! i am sitting here trying to get the motivation to sew my ds 4 B-day outfit but just can't . Why is it easier for me to sew for my DD then anyone else????
i know that if i do not get it done it will break his heart ,(no it won't he will just look at me with his puppy eyes and say it is okay mom i know you will finish it as to where DD would hound me until it is done ) maybe that is it I need to get him up here to hound me

I think it's just way more fun to sew for little girls than for anybody! My 10 year old dd lets me sew for her, but she wants it to look just like something she could by from Limited Too. Why spend the $$$ and time sewing when I could just go buy it??? I mean I know why, because it makes her feel special, so that just makes me feel crummy that I don't enjoy it as much as making my dd6 clothes.

I don't think I've had a guilt free day since I gave birth to my first child!

Although I hardly ever post, I read faithfully every day and am just amazed by everyone's talent. I just had to share this. So I've been watching this outfit on
---just watching, no intention whatsover to buy it. It's nice, but way overpriced IMO. Anyway, it ended yesterday for $735.88!!!! Are you kidding me?????? It's nice, but come on, who can afford that. Plus, with twins, I'd have to buy 2. I was just amazed.

I think I would cry if someone bought something I made for that much money! Please PM me a link I am dying to see this outfit.

Why no, there wasn't anything more important than spending the morning making an outfit for Megan's doll, why do you ask?

I have a question on the Ariel pillowcase applique. I saw where a lot of people used the side with Ariel and the flowers, but on the other side did you use the one where she has her arm in the air and if so what did you do with her arm? Did you just cut it off or what? Please posts pics if you have them.

It's adorable. How do you make that flower? I want one for Me I have a red shirt with white polka dots and I could pin the flower to the shirt. I love that flower!

I am right there with you!!! We just got the Limited too catalogue and I had dd8 look through it so we could try to make some of the outfits in there. It's cheaper to make it for $10 then to buy it for $35. Plus they appreciate it so much more even especially at the older ages. DD8 is definitely bummed out when I make things for DD5 and not her. It's easier to make things for the younger ones.
