So I think the flower is too big, but do you think if I made a smaller one that it would look good there? This is a size 3. I don't usually make stuff that small and I think I forgot how little it would end up being when I cut out the daisy.
Someone asked me to make a dress like this and I was trying to think of something "special" to add to it to make it my own.
Okay, I love the "large and in charge" flower myself! But, I'm always one for "excess"....
Seriously though, I am in
with that outfit, color combo...flower...everything! And I was totally eyeing your fabric stash in the background....jealous!!!!
)
she looks so cute
. I like the words on the tshirt too - and if you figure out how to do bubbles that would rock
I would love to see how it would look with a smaller one also But that is too cute ...
My baby is growing up...ugh! Goes by way too fast! Now she's 12 going on 17 and she's almost as tall as me....
Okay, I'll stop... I'll just say again, it goes way too fast!!!!

I think my computer has a virus or something. That, or it is posessed. It is really freaking out. I have a couple of things I have made and taken pictures of, but can't post them. I will have to figure out how to get pictures onto my dh's computer. I want a new computer! I found a super simple pattern for an a-line top or dress that is slipover, not even shoulder buttons. I literally whipped it up in 10 minutes except for the bias tape around the neck and arm holes. I need to go buy some. It is a little big on Lily, but she loves it. I used my Ariel pillowcase (one side of it anyway). I also made a cupcake skirt for Lily to match a cute sweater she has. I figured I'd better get it made before it is too warm to wear a sweater! It was my first attempt at piecing together an applique (okay, it's still pretty simple, but I feel like I'm progressing).
I'm sorry. Happy belated birthday!
