I asked Jayden about the kiss-blowing and she quite confidently replied "oh yes, that was Joe!" I said "was it the guy in the purple shirt?" and she said "I think so". I'm pretty sure Joe was the one in the purple shirt (this is for Misty and Wendy :rolleyes1 ) but not positive he is the one who blew the kiss I think Kevin is the one who looks like he should be in a Jane Austen novel with an ascot and all, and Nick is the baby one. They will be here in concert on Saturday, too bad I'm not going
I enjoyed the Jonas Brother's portion more than the Hannah part. I actually knew one of their songs since it was played non-stop on the Disney channel last year (The year 3000). I told Teresa if I was a 9 year old girl, I'd definitely have a crush goin' on! :rotfl:

I love you Heather!
Aw shucks, I love you too!

TESSA CAN FLY!!!!!

I love the little bows you put between the scallops!!! You are so creative!
Thank you, Teresa!! Carla wants me to put it on the YCMT site, what a compliment that was!
You weren't supposed to tell about the flying!!!! She's just jumping...:rolleyes1

I'm glad you may have found a solution to the Pierre dilemna. I know it was weighing heavy on your heart. I hope it works out for all of you.

It looks like you all had a great time at the concert/movie - AND at the fancy schmancy no loin cloth restaurant!
Thank you about Pierre. I am feeling much better about the whole thing today.
I'm glad you enjoyed my loin cloth reference! :thumbsup2

I can't see it! Do you have a bigger picture? It looks like it's cute, though!

That is ADORABLE!!! I haven't seen that Pooh fabric before! I like the shirring in the front. I would go ahead and shirr all the way around!

I know I'm a day behind, but I'm going to answer your question anyway, just because it's my right to, cause I'm your sister and all, and even if someone else answered allready and posted a link, you aren't going to believe them until your big sister tells you too, right?
It's Clarice
http://home.att.net/~disneysue/characters/wdw/clarice.html

And, I was hoping you'd post that picture of Tessa! I've always loved it!
Thank you, thank you, Teresa! You are the very first one to find these pictures for me. That's what a big sister is for!
Disclaimer: Totally not true. But, I have to boost her ego when I get a chance.

LOL don't laugh at my crocked lines and threads that are still hanging out. :rotfl:
WOW!! I think it looks terrific!! It must have been hard to do a different fabric for that thin strip of ribbon around her waist! I've wondered if I could just use an iron-on for faces before. I love doing applique, but hate doing faces. Now I know that it can look great!

Awww, I feel really bad for you - Glad Sawyer is okay - I feel bad for Pierre too, I wonder what in his past made him get this way. Maybe a nice older person will really love him!!! I hope it all works out in the end. Pixie Dust, Wendy
Thank you, Wendy. I feel so bad for him, too. I have no doubt that Henry's grandma will be great with him. So, that makes me feel better. Plus, we'll still get to see him!

After we got home though, I realized we should have taken a picture of US! I got a shot of my Mom though, so I'll post that! :thumbsup2

Heather, I'm so glad Henry's Grandma said she'd take Pierre! Is it Jo or Joan
I know! I thought the same thing!

His Grandma Jo said she might want him! It will depend on how well he gets along with Daphne, but I think he'll get along fine with her.

You have really been busy! I love all of these outfits, great job!

I got this one of Heather and Tessa as they were coming up to the theater. How CUTE is TESSA!!!
th_DSCF2298.jpg

Even Mom loved it! (she will shoot me if she finds out I posted this!)
th_DSCF2316.jpg
It's a good thing you didn't post too many pictures! :rotfl:
Thanks for showing everyone why I started Weight Watchers last week. I've lost 3 pounds!!
Mom looks so darn cute in that picture!!!

I love this style! I'm also a sucker for heart fabric of any kind. Is there a pattern out there for a jumper like this, or did you modify one?

It's hard to do faces with the sewing machine! I always break down and do the facial features by hand. I don't remember you posting a close-up of it last time, but it's really cute!!

They are ALL fantastic- But OMG that Dora one is the exact thing that has been haunting my dreams ALL WEEK!!! I have all that fabric, but I think my panel is a little different!! That is so weird!! Thanks for making it for me to CASE!!! And My husband actually unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher- I nearly fainted when I came home from work and saw the sink empty
I think you must by lying! Men are genetically incapable of loading or unloading the dishwasher!!! When I was in the hospital for 11 days, I came home to dirty dishes in the dishwasher (and some really gross ones in the sink), from before I went to the hospital! EWWWW!! In DH's defense, he spent every moment at the hospital with me and only came home once, I believe.:lovestruc

Another skirt. My 8 year old wanted didn't want to be left out. lol I'm too tired to make a top though. I'm going to bed!!!
th_Picture178Small.jpg

I love the fabric you used! What a cute little skirt!

I am so sorry to hear about this You know i have a similar situation with my Cocker Spaniel and Mayson she nipped at him twice and one time cut above his eye open when i was holding him, she got really protective and jealous.
so i went and tied a ribbon around her muzzle and let mayson do whatever he wanted to her (which was mostly pet and touch her eyes ect.. well after a lil bit i would sit with her and mayson and let him pet her she would growl at him but she never bit him . i did this every night but without my Muzzle. she still will growls at him but Licks him at the same time (it almost sounds like she is a motor in the cold just starting):confused3 now it has been a yr and they are the best of friends she knows not to bite him and just walk away ,
i could not give her up because i waited for her for so long and i can understand your pain, That is your baby , i knew that if Daizie could not work things out with Mayson i would have to give her up but luckily it did .. hope all works out for you...
I keep going back and forth between trying something like this and just giving him to Henry's grandma.

you are too funny i THINK we Should Take "Our Girls " to see the Jonas Brothers :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
th_the_jonas.jpg
Is it so Wrong??
I really have no idea what you're talking about...:rolleyes1

Well, I give up! I feel awful. BAD MOMMY! No custom creation on Georgia's birthday! Oh well.. I am just so tired and flustered about that dang dress. But I did chop up that fabric to make a cute skirt. I will finish it in time for her party. I just dont know what to do for a shirt. I hope I can figure it out. I have some test fabric I found so I will try it on that first. Otherwise I have a white shirt waiting to be altered up! haha

Night all!
You are NOT a bad mommy! You tried to make your daughter a custom creation for her birthday! You rock!!! :rockband:

, Georgia!

okay i am all caught up!
Mayson broke his crib so we had to buy him a toddler bed so i have been downstairs 5 times putting him back in it I tried to convince DH just to buy a crib that turns into a bed but we are done having kids so that was a big fat NO !! i am hitting the bed now because he is asleep at almost quarter to 1 :scared1: i have to go register Camden for Kindergarten later today:eek: :sad1: my kids are growing up to fast...at least you tried!!!

Goodnight all..
Yikes, kintergarden!! I guess I should look into when I need to register Tessa. :sad2:

LOL When my first daughter was born I searched and searched for the perfect christening dress. I never found it. So my mom said she would make one for me. Then I couldn't find the kind of fabric I wanted. One day I was at Bed Bath and Beyond and saw a shower curtain that was perfect! It was sheer with tiny flowers embroidered on it. So my daughter's christening gown was actually a shower curtain. :rotfl: :rotfl:

A few years later she went to a Wiggles concert in a dress made from Wiggles bed sheets.

I have 2 sets of Mickey sheets I'm holding on to for future outfits. I finally had to hide them from DH because he keeps trying to wash them (they are still in the packaging) and put them on the bed in the guest room :rotfl:

That is too funny. Just do what I do and slap his hand when he tries to do stuff like that.

I had never thought to use sheets or pillowcases for clothing until I found this thread.:lmao:

He just rolls his eyes and shakes his head when I tell him they will eventually be for outfits... of course part of that could be because I've had the sheets for 1+ year and our only child is 6 weeks old :lmao:

ANGELA CAMELOTCATS Thank you, thank you, thank you for the strips of Minnie fabric! I can't wait to make DD a skirt! She LOVES Minnie! I should be mailing your Buzz Lightyear appliques out tomorrow, depending on when the daily snowstorm hits and other usual emergencies. I was waiting to get the Minnie fabric so I could also reimburse you shipping. I didn't trim around the appliques because I wasn't sure how much "room" you wanted around them. Thanks again!

Hey, you're welcome. :)

And thank you to everyone who sent me a PM about the fabric, too. It felt really good to be able to share with people I know will value the fabric. :) I can't wait to see pics of what everyone makes.

I'm sorry I haven't been around. I popped onto the TR board last night, but not here. I have been running around like a chicken without a head, because I forgot I have family coming over this weekend for a VERY LATE Christmas get together, and I have been sleeping really poorly because I have BRACES on my back teeth, and they have really been cutting up the inside of my mouth.

Anyway, all the outifts look great, and it looks like some people had a lot of fun at the Hannah Montana concert. My kids are still too little for her and HSM. We're still hesitant to show them Bambi, to be honest. Spencer got scared by Sleeping Beauty.

OK, back to my cleaning. I have the pink mickey dot all cut up and ready for sewing. maybe Monday....

Thank you Angela i got my stuff yesterday and thank you so much for the spongie square you rock!!!!:thumbsup2
Sorry about your braces and lack of sleep

That's beautiful....can you share how you did the front part (I have no idea what the correct term is!!) with the ruffles?
yep basically take a skirt you would put on the bodice. and just don't connect it to make a full skirt so there is an opening. does that make sense. attach the ruffle all along every edge first, and then attach to bodice.

I love it! I just love Giselle. I wish they would do more with her. I was looking at the sheet set the other day and thinking it would make a cute sundress.

Where did you see the sheets? My DD loves Giselle. My Dad took us girls to see it and he could not get over how my DD is like Giselle!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGIA!
OK, here are our Hannah Montana Concert/movie pictures!
Rock On Lyddy!

Finally I got a card reader when DH got home. He had the one I've been tearing the house up for in his computer bag that he takes to work. Yes, I'm trying hard not to smack him...

I'm now working on an Ariel peasant top made from a panel I got at Walmart. I'm thinking about making a pair of embellished jeans to go with them.
I'm going to go get a shower and then start some laundry. I've got Delaney in her own bed, not that it will last, she's been up four times already, okay, make that five, now I'm going. DH can deal with it for awhile.

Wow, you've done a lot! Great job on everything!

ok, maybe I did not share her other valentines photos. here is some pics

Nathan's jeans... I have a Polo shirt to go with it, but I don't know what to do with it. What should I do?

I also made this cake for a huge Mardi Gras bash at my church. This is how I make my $$ so it always fun for me to make one that is no pressure.
BTW, do you like the finger prints:) My 2 yo could not resist touching the cake. ;)

All right Ladies,

I have spent the last two years trying to convince Morgan that we "DO NOT" take pictures in the bathroom (don't ask:scared1: ) and NOW she see "all the other kids" doing it!:guilty:

:sad: :sad::sad::sad:

:rotfl:

Love those sheets! I may need to order so I can make something for our next trip (though I don't know for sure when that is right now.)
