Weight Watchers-

I am WW biggest cheerleader. After having DD I lost 100 pounds doing WW. The day I weighed in I also found out that I was preggers with DD #2. That being said after the baby was born I went back and lost 90. My youngest daughter had seizures last year and honestly I ate to deal with it. I gained about 60 pounds. I was not a happy camper. Anyway I went back to WW three weeks ago and I have lost 15 pounds so far. I am really happy and it is a wonderful way to loose weight without being on a diet!!!

Aimee, that is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Way to go!!!!!

I am thinking about my trip in APril, and it's not like I already don't have enough to do, but do you think it would be tacky to make myself some patch-panel jeans for disney?? Or will I be on those "what was SHE thinking" threads? :)

I say Go For IT! Some people will talk about others no matter what. What is more important is for you to do what makes you feel good. I think adding some patches to jeans would be a fun way to get in the Disney mood. I have to admit I'm thinking of making my sisters, brothers-in-law, adult niece & nephews and me appliqued tees to wear when we all go to DLR in May. I think most of them would wear them, too. I wouldn't make them match but just thought it would be fun to pick characters to match the personalities of the people wearing them.

... I am married to a Jamaican and i have never been to Jamaica...

Zoe's birth mother is of Jamaican decent. (Her birth father is Haitian.)

CamelotCats I got my Minnie fabric yesterday! THank you so much it is so cute! I don't know what I will make with it yet. But I am thinking those hearts with the Minnie will be perfect to applique on some jeans.

:thanks:

Wow so many adorable outfits posted lately :worship:

Thanks for sharing Hannah Montana pictures everybody! It looks like a lot of fun!

I loved all the pictures of the kids at WDW! Great outfits.

twocutekidz Have fun on your trip. I loved all your outfits. THe bows really complete the look! Can't wait to see pictures of the kids on the ship. We went on the Disney Cruise almost 6 years ago. It was so nice!

Heather sorry about Pierre and I hope he is happy with Grandma Jo.
I loved the Chip and Dale skirt!

All the valentine's outfits are adorable. I loved the Minnie Dress birthday gift too! It turned out cute.

DS has been asking me to make him a Capt. Hook Costume for a while but I was :scared1:

I finally gave it a shot and so here is what I have so far. I still have to make his pants and his hat.

How exciting...a trip to Jamaica!! Dh and I celebrated our 10 year last August and we went to Disney world!! (not exciting as Jamaica) Anyway, I will join you on your weight loss journey....maybe we can get on each other!!! I just started doing Weight Watchers again.

When is you anniversary? ours is August 8th. Thanks for joining me! Now I don't feel so alone!

We can do that!! We are celebrating our 10 year in WDW. I can't get my DH to agree to any topical place. It was WDW or Alaska:lmao:

I definitely would have chosen WDW!

Jamaica!!! YAY!!! I'm also trying to lose weight. I just started the Weight Watchers core program last week (I've lost 3 pounds!). So, I'll join you in reporting in every week. Should we do it every Thursday? I don't know how good I'll be at chastising you if you don't lose weight. Actually, I won't do that, but I'll try to support you!

YAY! 3pounds is great! We can support each other! I like doing this with others, it keeps me motivated!

my*2*angels - God luck! I have been losing weight, too. It's tough! I was so upset when I looked at the pics form my last disney trip, and I felt HUGE!

We can do it! And I say if you want to make yourself something, GO FOR IT! Life is to short to care about what others think of you!

YAY! for you! That is awesome! You have inspired me!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! For the 10 years AND getting a big trip!
I started Weight Watchers again recently, and could also use some acountability! I think I lost a pound this week. My meeting was yesterday, but I didn't go, since I was sick and the roads got nasty. Do you have a program you are doing, or are you just doing it yourself? Good luck, I know you can do it! :woohoo:

I am not on a program! Before the holidays, I just really started watching what I ate and HOW MUCH I ate! I don't do well on diets! I don't like thinking I CAN'T eat something! I am tooo rebellious! I lost 18lbs before the holidays and have managed to keep it off so, so far so good! My goal now is to start some type of exercise, even if it is just walking!
YEAY! Now there is a whole group and we can all be accountable and help each other out! So, I guess we can check in on Thursdays! Sounds fine to me! So next Thursday, we will all tell how much we have lost, or gained:scared: !

Ok guys. I didn't get to her skirt or dress for that matter last night. hahaha BUT its ok she didnt even care. She said "I love you mommy, you work so hard for me. Just have it ready by my party" bwahahahaha Isnt that the funniest thing. so cute!

so here is the picture of the birthday girl this morning on the way to school!
BirthdayGirl.jpg

We made mini muffins for class. It happens to be her snack day too! She did most of the work. I found that sticker on the CreativeDISign board. It says "feel free to treat me like royalty its my birthday" That is the BEST thing I could have ever done for her! I printed it up last night and she wanted to show EVERYONE insite!

I even got all teary at school because this little girl doesn't talk much to people or give our hugs. Well, she went up to one of our friends and gave them a BIG huge hug. I was like OMG! My little girl is coming along. Who says kids with autisim aren't social!?!

Ok back to read the latest pages! Just had to share.

She is just sooo pretty! And see, you are the BEST mommy ever!

hehehe you know she actually does! She wore one for Thanksgiving. She was an Indian. The only girl in her class. She didnt want the bonnet on her head. hahaha

See, I told ya!;) I bet she was the cutest indian ever!

Me too! Which plan are you doing? I just started Core and I'm really loving it! I hate to be hungry, so Core is a good one for me!
Heather is doing great!! My Mom started the other week too! We are going to be smokin' when we get to Florida in May! HOT SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS And woo hoo on the three pounds Heather!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Okay, you guys are inspiring me! But that means I"ll have to get on a scale :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: I did WW 5 years ago. I lost 70 pounds and kept it off for 2 years. Then I had some major stress (my mom died while I was pregnant with Lily and we had a house to empty out and sell etc.) so I did not fall off the wagon, I jumped! I have gained most of it back and feel horrible about it, I just need motivation to get me going. I originally started WW with a friend and that helped, even though she quit after a few weeks. Hopefully we can keep this going and help each other out! My 17th anniversary is August 2, so even though I'm not doing anything great (went to Mexico last year) that will be a good goal to work towards. We can do amazing things in 6 months girls!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
I checked out Wendy's weight-loss thread but felt kinda like a big old stranger there, so did not join.

YAY! The more the merrier! If we all help and support each other we can do it! I am sooo glad that all of you are going to join me and help me! It will keep me motivated and accountable! I gained alot of weight with my first baby and never really lost it! I only gained 16lbs with my second and lost it immediately when she was born, but still had the weight from the first one! And now I have a reason to really get serious, I mean, HELLO I am going to have to put on a bathing suit!:scared1:

I think you should do it! It sounds like it would be cute, but not TOO cute!

Yup it's actually Marshmallow fondant. It's so much more palatable than the traditional almond fondant. I use it to cover a cake quick believe it or not. It takes so much longer to get a perfectly iced cake. :lmao:
I'm going to have to try that!!

Wow!! That's really inspiring! I lost my pregnancy weight after both kids, but gained a lot of it back again when I was feeling so sick last year. We lost it once, we can lose it again! We'll keep it off this time. The great thing about Weight Watchers, for me, is that I've never gained ALL of the weight back.

I LOVE it!! What a little cutie you have! This is the same pattern that I used for Sawyer's Prince Charming outfit. I just modified it a little. It looks fantastic, great job!

Camelcotcats--- Thank you for the Minnie fabric. Now to decide what to make. I'll post a picture when it's done.

I'll join you gals in the weightloss support :) I started back at ww a couple of weeks ago and have lost 3.2 kgs (which I think is about 7lbs) I have 7kgs (15ish lbs) to go . I haven't been well for the past week  so have had no appetite but unfortunately I don't lose weight by not eating (my body stores it all - I think it's a side effect from having severe HG (morning sickness) during my pregnancies and my body thinks I'm starving it).

I really need to go back to the gym :yay: (my starjumps man)- haven't been in 6weeks - it's just so hot here and it's not airconditioned and dh has been on callout so I don't get much child free time (also no sewing time  ). Excuse central :rolleyes1

I want to be able to go swimming when I'm in Hawaii.....and that would mean I need to bare my mama body to the world (and actually buy a swimsuit :rolleyes1 ) and I want to look good in the pics from our trip :)

Anyway Good luck everyone

I'm excited!!! This is going to be fun!

Heather and I were both married on August 6th. Brian (the love of my life and NOT a Disney hater!)and I going to be celebrating our 20th anniversary this year. Looks like lots of us have anniversaries right around then!

Oh my gosh!!! I can't believe it's going on TWENTY YEARS! I was married when I was 10 of course! ;)
When I first typed this, I put 19, then I did some math 2008-1988 = 20 not 19!

Yeah! Another one!!!

ANGELA!!!! Thank you!!! The fabric came today!!! It's so cute!!!!! I can't wait to see what everyone makes with this!!!

I finished the Ariel top. Here it is:

DD is actually really excited, she was being silly about posing, she won't take the top off though. I am toying with the idea of a pair of embellished jeans or a twirl skirt. I've got the stuff to do the jeans here but would need more fabric for the skirt, I'm having a hard time deciding. I've never taken apart a pair of jeans to embellish them and while they are second hand jeans, I'm not sure I want to get them apart only to find out I can't get them back together. I'm just being a big chicken.
