These are all fabulous! I REALLY love the birthday party fabric! Where did you find it? SO cute!
I never made it about 65 today and the rain was a mess but we still managed to spend from 10 - 1015 to almost 445 there! had a blast - but Im TIRED!!!Have fun at the world! It is 50 degrees here in Tampa so she might need the tights! I love the black and white dress with the triangle hem, so cute! And she is such a cutie playing Mrs. Potts!
Well I decided to Disney-fy my sailor outfit. Here is the results. I haven't put the hooks inside the top, so it's just pinned, that's why it's hanging funny in the front. Also there will be a red ribbon on the front...eventually..LOL

Hope you all like it!
I've seen the Hannah Montana satin but I haven't seen the Hannah flannel. DD saw the HM satin and wants an outfit with that. So I guess that is my next project.
Here is DD's Mardi Gras dress and hat.

DD with the crown.

The applique on the top of the dress. This is my first ever actual applique. I did the detail on the face myself. I wouldn't have done it without the motivation of you people. Thanks.

Hey, you are the ONLY person to have ever read my (never finished) cruise TR!![]()
I tried to quote your pics from Disneyland but that was one of the many times my internet crashed today. I think it's mad at us because we ignored it for a week! I love how your outfits turned out! The girls looked great in their skirts! I love the picture of Seli and Scout looking over the railing at Jedi Training Academy! And I have never seen all of your boys with such short hair before (okay, I've known them since birth, I guess I should say it's been a long time since they've all had such short hair!) Tell Hallden we went to Pizza Planet JUST FOR HIM!
Your outfits look so amazing! I am in LOVE with Cinderella (her outfit too!)!! So, there's been some talk about crocs on the thread...I'm really liking your mary jane style...are they comfy? I just cannot get into the regular crocs, I think it has something to do w/making my feet look ginormous! They are comfy though! And Uggs are Uggly? WHAT?
I LOVE MINE! I don't think I've worn anything else for weeks!! No, they make my feet look huge too....ahh well...
Yeah, they all got their hair chopped before the trip...Hallden was looking pretty shagadelic before he got it chopped (and that is about the shortest it's been for 3 or so years???)....All of these photos have been terrific! Love the park ones!
You did such a fantastic job!
Makes all the hard work, broken needles, pin pricks, broken thread, seam rippers, sweat, frustration, and machines that we have threatened to throw out the window, WORTH IT ALL!![]()
I love this picture. Did you enjoy the party? I'm taking my daughter to the tea party in March. Her custom just arrived today.![]()
Castle- That turned out really great- Good Luck on
What a great Idea- I suppose we are using pillow cases- why not the sheets too!!! And that baby is sooooo sweet- I am totally baby jonesing- My baby isn't really babish anymore and I am realizing it more everyday- she even wants to sit on the potty- at 18 months!! I don't think she'll be "trained" any time soon- She is just getting so big!!!
I don't know if we will be having more,dh says no more, I'm just not so sure yet! We're young we got time to change his mind. ok sorry- Any way thanks for sharing your precious little one with us in her sox diaper. I bet she even still smells new
:SIGH:![]()
I agree with the others- don't ripe open the jeans again- ANd I don't think they look to big for her- so hopefully she will get to wear them out a few times even if she doesn't stay with you.
What a great find- I love that fabric
Have you checked out the Creative DISigns threads they have great stuff- Directions to make "passports" , autograph books, And a TON of iron on designs- They are really great over there. THey will personalize most anything!!So more questions from the newbie ....
Do your children wear the outfits all day in the parks?? or is it normally for special stuff (character meals etc).
What shoes do they wear so they fit in with the outfit but are still comfortable enough for all that walking??
It looks at this stage that we will be in Disneyland October 09 (sounds much better just saying next year) Can someone tell me what the weather is like around october? What sort of clothes can you suggest?.......
I think I'm going to have to start a "to sew" list
Already on there is the Amy Butler Weekender bag - think I might try to disneyfy it![]()
A big disney quilt for each of the girls (this is for christmas) made from Minky![]()
Some outfits......
Is there anything else I need to get addicted too![]()
That is a great idea too!! I would have never thought of that- I t is really really cute!!I'm so excited, my first outfit to share on the new thread!! After much debating, i finally decided on my first ever twirl skirt for dinner at The Crystal Palcace! I love the way it turned out! I'll be making more of this type of skirt!! It is made from a storybook kit from Joann's.

I am trying to catch up here- I think we must be in a race to catch up to our old thread- 30 pages in just a couple days- are we chatting cathys or what!! I got together with my BF and all the kids today and totally fell behind!! We ended up going grocery shopping this evening-And not even alone! We are in dire need of a mommies night out!!So do most people/children wear crocs???
I've seen them, though we only have the basic pairs here -I've never seen girlyfied ones - all are the same clog shape, I thought they looked strange. So are they actually comfy??
DH has some knock offs that his dad gave him when they were boating, and I just can't see the appeal (sorry) maybe I need to find out more lol![]()

i like my Mary jane crocs ...
The Mary Jane style with Mickey Head holes instead of the plain round holes. The only problem with the Mickey Head shaped holes is that the jibbitz fall out.
You can solve this problem by going to the local hardware store and buying a rubber gasket the size of the jibbitz....put the gasket on the INSIDE of the shoe, but the jibbitz through the mickey head and through the gasket. Now the gasket will hold the jibbitz in, and for most styles of jibbitz, you won't be able to see the gasket as the entire mickey head hole will be covered. I did this for the girls' regular size holes because I'd read so many people complaining about the jibbitz falling out even on regular holes. At $3-4 each I don't want to be losing these babies....I'm too cheap.
Crocs are pretty ugly, but very comfortable. Of course you need to find that style that best fits your own foot. The Mary Janes work best on my foot as the original styles are just too wide an my foot slops around in them. The Mary Janes are narrower and look more like a normal shoe. I hear there are Minnie Janes available in the parks now. The Mary Jane style with Mickey Head holes instead of the plain round holes. The only problem with the Mickey Head shaped holes is that the jibbitz fall out.
Here I sit at 5 AM because I woke up at 2:30 AM with a million ideas for sewing projects and I haven't been able to get back to sleep yet. I think I'm in for a long day tomorrow.
Now I want a pair
On the twin comment-she may have, we don't know.
I took a quick look at your trip report. I think we saw you at the gate of Epcot on the first. Looks like we were there the same day. I think I remember seeing your girls Minnie dot skirts.![]()
. Try washing it and using fabric softener. I don't know what else. Your AK outfit is very cute too! I found a new shop yesterday that had loads of different fabric that would be perfect for AK... now to plan the outfit and go back to shop!!I still have a wintery wreath above my mantle. I think I'm gonna keep it up for a while though. The tree has been down for several weeks, though.
We got tons of comments on dd2's Nemo outfit too, one CM let us go in the VIP entrance at the Nemo ride because she loved it so much.
That sounds just like me. Although I have been wearing my crocs all winter also.![]()

I'm not laughing AT you, I'm laughing WITH you!
Really is wasn't my fault. Jacob was the strangest, most well-behaved baby in the world. I just didn't realize it then. When I took Megan in for her checkup at 18 mos., I asked if she could be autistic because she wouldn't let me brush her teeth and hair and I had to physically hold her down with my knee to get the car seat buckled. He laughed at me and said she is a toddler, look out! I really didn't know if both of us were going to make it out alive for those 3 years! So more questions from the newbie ....
