Hi all! It's been a couple months since I've been dis'n. Is this the new boutique thread? Is the other one still around?

That Wendy nightgown is so cute:cutie: I just love checking out everyone's creations.

this is the new one! Have no idea when we will be able to see the old one!
Welcome Back

Hi all!
I wanted to post what I've been working on today....

You did a great job on these! I really love the peasant top!! The hangers are very cute as well. I wish I could use one but Megan refuses to wear anything in her hair. :headache:

I love those peasant tops. Sleeves scare me. I've never done one. Are they hard?

I like to bow holders, too. Of course, we have no need for those. My DD's refuse to wear any type of hair piece in their hair. :confused3

Peasant top sleeves are really easy compared to regular sleeves. You should give it a try.

ETA: Elvis and Wisher - looks like I lost your quote some how. I love all the outfits!

I just wanted to say WELCOME to all of the newbies!!!!! This thread has really grown in the past week! WOW! Glad to have all of you finally join us! CONGRATULATIONS to twins, please show us what you make!!!!! And someone wanted to know what OOAK MEANT! I believe it means One Of A Kind! Okay, I hope I didn't miss anyone, but this thread is FLYING and I just can't keep up! My DD1 has been under the weather and I haven't figured out why!:confused3 We were on our way to my brother's house Sat night and she puked all over the place! EWWWWWWW! Luckily she did it as we were arriving, so I was able to give her a bath and wash the carseat pads! Just keep us in your thoughts and prayers and hopefully she will be feeling better soon! And then maybe I can keep up with you guys and have some things to show off myself!;)

Thanks for all the entries for the Nemo Storybook fabric. And here I was afraid, no one would really want it -- who was I kidding, free fabric causes a frenzy 'round these parts!

Now the winner is....

Congrats on the fabric!!! I know your trip isn't for a while but I hope that you will post a pic of whatever you make out of it when you finish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you ! ! !Thank you ! ! !Thank you ! ! !

Im honored. :woohoo: really, I never win anything. I was looking at the boards yesterday and one of my twins Ghasped at the nemo fabric panel. SO, I guess I will be making her and her twin matching twirl skirts. WOO HOO! Thank you so much.   I WON I WON!

What a great picture! My DH would be mad if I took a pic of DS in a dress/nightgown. DS paints his toenails and fingernails when my girls do and DH hates it. Hey, they love it so that's all that matters.

BTW, loved your Tinker Bell top. I have that fabric just laying around.

He loved it and slept in it two nights in a row! He wanted to wear it all day Monday :lmao:

My DH just laughed. I would love to be able to come up with something like the boys wear. Jon and Michael wear white nightshirts in the Peter Pan movie.
I am no good without a pattern though...

In honor of winning the nemo fabric I will be giving away a family 4 pack of National Amusement movie tickets. They are for any Showcase cinemas, cinema de lux, or multiplex cinema. You must live in a city/state that has a National Amusement theater. These are usually very expensive (you know what it cost to go to a movie) no imagine....FREE admission! WOO HOO! All you need is a popcorn, pop, and some candy. 4 passes.

Were gonna play a game. Right now I have chose a pool home to rent when we goto disney. Even talked my DH into paying the extra money / night for the better house. This is a great house. I will post some clues and the first person to guess the house (the name or the url) will get the tickets. You can guess as many times as you wnat to. I will start with a few clues in a little bit. Then add a few more clues in a while. This game could take a little time, is anyone interested?

OHHHHH this sounds fun, but we don't have any of those around here! Good luck to everyone, this is a GREAT prize!!!!! You are so sweet to do this! WOW!

Here's some photos from our 2006 trip. Am already obsessing about what to sew for Dec 2008. DD swears she wear whatever I sew, but last trip she refused to wear some of the skirts and insisted on wearing shorts. Oh well.. This year she has requested something for High School musical. Any ideas?

what a bunch of cute outfits , :goodvibes

Look what I woke up to this morning- it's a 4ft snow drift, right in front of my garage door!!! I put a little gingerbread man on top of the drift, so you can see how high it is!

th_1-30-08Snowdrift.jpg

There's no way I'm going anywhere today. Henry said he barely made it out, with his truck in 4 wheel drive. The drift is higher in front of my garage door, so I guess we're staying home.

On a high note, it's a SNOW DAY!!!
wow ! i woke up to the snow looking like that too my dh opened our front door to leave and in fell a ton of snow . i would say we got about 5 inches my kids were dragging there feet through it on the way to school this morning, luckily;) the school is right around the corner and it only takes them 5 minutes to get there...

Congrats on the win Twins+2more. post some pictures of what you make with it:goodvibes

I always use patterns. I am going to make the t-shirt nightgown but I am askeered. :scared: I don't have a pattern to make the skirt portion. I held the flannel up to DD and cut a little place in it so I would know how long to make it. Now I will use my rotary cutter to cut it straight. But I don't know how full it should be.

Here is what I made on Sunday

Trying to pose the way Tinkerbell is on the shirt.

DS loved the nightgown too. He said he was going to dream that he was flying to Neverland with Peter Pan.
th_IMG_5683.jpg

And just because they are too cute.
th_IMG_5671.jpg

Both the nightgown and the Tinkerbell top are like Peasant shirts. They are so EASY! It came together fast. Now I know what I am going to do with my St. Patrick's day material.
cute outfits and cute kids i can see your son flying away to neverland now !!;) and what cute wuppies:cutie:
AND GOOD LUCK TO THOSE who will be trying for the movie tickets...
well off to start my morning ...:laundy:

If you know anybody in pennsylvania, new york, new jersey, michigan, ohio, california, iowa, conneticute, massachutets, virginia, kentucky, or rhode island I can mail them to a friend/family member if you would like. :confused3

okay, first set of clues.... Send me a pm so that the answers aren't taking up space on the boards please.

five clues every five minutes. I will offer 4 sets of clues.

-This is a 4 bedroom 3 bath home
-This house is Tan/toupe/beige/light brown in color with white trim and red roof
-there are 2 master rooms; one with king bed and soaking tub in bathroom the other is queen with a master bathroom
-There is a $90 cleaning fee if less than a 7 day stay
-2000 square feet

i'll come back with more in 5 minutes

Here is DD's Valentine's Day peasant top. It was my first attempt at shirring! I am going to make her some ruffle jeans to go with it, but she couldn't wait to wear the top to school. I had intended to make the sleeves long but she wanted them short. Then she decided that's it's way too cold for shorter sleeves and had to wear a tee under it. :rolleyes1

Great top. I love the hearts on the front. DD looks happy with it too.

2nd clues;

-The ultimate kid friendly house
-free usage of charcoal grill
-Both twin rooms have Mickey Mouse themes
-China to eat on has Mickey Mouse theme
-Free long distance phone calls

She is just sooo cute in her new top! It looks GREAT!

TWINS-Unfortunately all of my family lives down south, but thanks for the offer!

These clues should really narrow down the search;

- There is a name of an animal in the house name. Name has 2 words in it
- Private illuminated pool with jacuzzi and waterfall
- free 100 degree spa heat
- cost $169/night in May
- has awsome Mickey Mouse tiffany lamps

some good clues. Someone guess.

Well I guess I am not going back to work right away so I may still have time to sew. :confused3 :rotfl:

Lots of new names on this board, did everyone make it over from the "old" board?

Glad to see you back Cindee!

That turned out so cute!

Okay, I lost a ton of quotes. I think I'll have to go back and try again.

well, imma post the last clues and see who finds it first. THE FIRST TO POST THE URL HERE ON THE BOARDS WINS THE TICKETS....

-In Davenport, FL
-has puzzles, board games, cards, pool table, air hockey
-has the ever important KRUPS thermal coffee pot
-presented by findrentals
-I love this home

Okay, I give up, I'll never find all those quotes again! Camelotcats, I LOVE your DD's haircut! It is adorable on her!

Carla C is in the house! :worship: :worship: :worship: love your patterns! I have many of them! I also have a ruffler question (and thanks so much for teaching me how to use it!) When I am using it it will occasionally leave a 2 or 3 inch section unruffled. Does that make sense? I will have to go back over that little section and kind of fill it in. It will stitch there, it just won't tuck for the ruffle. I usually have it set to ruffle on every stitch. I think my next option is every 6 stitches which doesn't seem to be enough. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong to make it not tuck once in a while? Am I stitching too fast? TIA!

Hi all!
I wanted to post what I've been working on today....

th_dressesandplaques002.jpg

I finally tried the peasant top!!! woo hoo!!!
th_dressesandplaques009.jpg

and I have a question...what do you guys think of these?

th_dressesandplaques003.jpg
th_dressesandplaques005.jpg

th_dressesandplaques007.jpg

they've got ribbon hanging down to hold bows....which was their original use, but, I thought even just the personalized wall hanging was cute? I dunno...what do you guys think????

Love them all! Especially the ladybugs! Who are the bow hangers for? You don't have any kids with those initials!

okay lets just head out tommorow your kids and mine We don't need no stinking husbands We will have to snag Wendy lou too .....;)

Oh that is a good idea! Me, you, Wendy, and we should invite Sugarbees too, road trip to Disneyland, 4 adults and 20 kids!:rotfl2: Now that would be one helck of a trip report! But I would seriously be up for going without DH as long as I had some other adult company! Let's do it!!!
