This thread move way to fast for me to keep up! Anyway, I have been working on this top...dh was home yesterday, so I could get more sewing than I normally would on a weekday. This is for dd...it is not completely done..I have to sew the button on, and also the snap that goes on the inside.

I am going to make capri..I think just a plain purple capri (the purple matches the purple in the oval that the princesses are in), and then I will put the same white rick rack on it..what do you think?

Jenny

Where did you find this???

I decided I need some fun in my life...Here goes...I have 2 beautiful hairbows that I recently put on :wizard: for half the price of what I paid. They were never worn, and I hate to relist stuff...so
The first person who can guess my middle name...gets them...

So here's the first hint...It begins with one of the first 9 letters of the alphabet and it's 5 letters long.
Please PM me your guesses..and I will give more hints as we get closer...
Good luck..:)

We Have A Winner!!
phins_jazy was the winner of the bows...She was the second guesser and got it!! My middle name is Helen! Teresa..you got it too, but she beat you to it!! Congrats!!

Ok, Here's the Valentine's shirts. I'll have to get pics of them on 'cause they look way better on the girls than on the hanger (at least to me they do).

And this is Tink. If I hadn't been so excited about this outfit, I probably would've shoved it in the back of a closet somewhere & not touched it again for months. I broke 4 needles & had to fix the bobbin 4 or 5 times & ripped the ruffle off at least 4 times before i got it right, BUT now that it's finished I love it.

The Tink one is my favorite! Is it from a pillowcase/sheet or did you applique it from scratch?

I am just bumping for those (like me sometimes) that don't read every reply on every page when they are trying to catch up with this amazingly fast moving thread!!

I was sooooo touched by Cindee's (livndisney) generosity for sending me the Pokemon fabric and by all the other wonderful ladies around here that give stuff away or help others out by finding fabric, making stuff, etc. that I thought I would pay it forward too.

I have been in love with 2cutekidz Pooh storybook skirt and today I found some Nemo. I just couldn't pass up the price and bought 3 of them. I am going to put 2 of them up to hopefully use for our next trip (maybe in '09) and I will give the other away.

Here is a pic:

I think it will make an adorable skirt (this is what I am planning to use it for), you could use it for appliques or even make the storybook.

For those that are interested send me a PM. I will take pm's until 8 am tomorrow morning and then I will have Parker draw the winning name out of hat. If you are new and don't have pm set up yet, let me know on this thread!

your welcome!

love it and glad we can all share pics again. man that was frustrating! I was working on it for 15 minutes trying to list on ebay and not getting the pics to work was driving me crazy!
LOVE TINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!

I had gotten all these pics uploaded & then it went crazy on me. Plus, I'm trying to find a pic from early on in thread of an outfit I wanted to CASE & couldn't find it on photobucket with it all messed up. What I really need is to be able to look at like the first 15 or 20 pages of the old thread.

Teresajoy - thank you for posting my picture of the shirt. It looks even neater posted!!

My goodness I can't keep up with most of you and your wonderful designs!! :worship: My DD8 want GAGA over the HM skirt - going to have to copy that one if you don't mind. I still have to finish another ribbon shirt, a cheetah three tier skirt with matching cheetah Mickey and now I'm adding the HM skirt with a matching HM Mickey shirt.:headache:  Hopefully I can get them done by our trip in April. I'm probably going to go back to Joanne's for more fabric, but I'm hoping to find this place in Cumberland, RI that's suppose to have really inexpensive fabric.

DH wants me to finish with the fabric I have before I go out and get more, but it becomes an adiction :dance3: you have to keep getting fabric and collecting ideas. Crazy!:yay:

Y'all: Keep an eye out when you're fabric shopping for Pokemon fabric! I just need location.

I found one twin sheet set for one of my sons (I have 2 ds's who love pokemon) so I gave the set to the son who was with me at the time. Well, my other son is CRUSHED and wants pokemon sheets too. (He's my sensitive son).

I've been scouring Salt Lake, to no evail. I KNOW I've seen some somewhere!
I need enough to make 2 comfortors and some long curtains. I've found some fleece but they don't like it because Pikachou has blue cheeks on the print and in REAL LIFE he has red cheeks. :thumbsup2 KWIM?

I LOVE the pooh valentines dress and the Tink dress 100AcrePrincess made!
sorry! I forgot to quote!

I know what you mean about the Pokemon fabric being hard to find! And yes, my DS6 would say something about the blue cheeks too!

BTW, where did you find the first set of sheets? We couldn't have too much Pokemon fabric here either!
