Did the buttonholes and buttons this morning and I am done!
I dont seem to be good with sewing buttons on, but I hope these will at least stick for our trip.
Heres my man (I made him wear a hat cause he needs a haircut- yesterday!)

and here's the back

and this is a little McCalls baby dress I cut out last year and never finished. I really like this style for Drs appts- easy on, easy off. And doing it in the searsucker fabric and a batiste lining makes it light and cool to wear for hot days.

and back (as you can see it needs bloomers or shorts with it)

Okay, I see Jham has already found one. Here are two more. I will add them to the account.

Here is one DH cleaned up for me in photoshop, so it would just be the outline (will waste less ink):

I'm so excited that it looks like we've got a solution to the photo problem that will make everyone happy!!!

I tend to get excited about things easily!

Thanks sooooo much for doing this, but I CAN'T LOG IN!!!
:(

Hi everyone
I haven't posted in a long time. I came back a few days ago and was surprised at what all was going on and decided to stay out of it. The reason I came back was to post a few pictures from my April trip, which I finally got uploaded to my computer. We have been very busy here lately. Before we went to WDW my dd was being evaluated for some problems she was having in school, etc. She was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and since then, we've been running around crazy. She gets different kinds of therapy 4+ times a week, not at her school, because she is still in preschool. There have since then been a lot of dr. appointments, consults, meetings, etc. The next thing on the agenda is deciding on K placement for Sept.

I didn't mean to digress. I am not anywhere near as talented as most people here. I don't make anything fancy. But my dd loves the stuff I make her and tells everyone that mommy made it. I did just want to post a few pictures of her in some of the outfits I posted waaaay back when :)

Okay, so Im curious, how Jhams new post of Mickey heads is up so fast, but all of mine still say pending?

Laura-I most certainly do live in CT and not that far from you. Im in Brookfield, are you in a local MOPS group? Im in the Walnut Hill MOPS and we are forming a sewing group

That's a good idea!:thumbsup2

Have you tried putting in the password yourself? When it comes up, the password that's there won't work. I had to put it in myself.

TJ and Heather -

I have been in lurker mode the last few days and thought it best to stay out of the "drama". I'm sorry for all the stuff that has been going on. But just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all you do. Since I am not a very creative person, I do need inspiration. And seeing everyone else's creations does help get my very limited creativity moving. I was sad to see the Photobucket account go away since I really enjoyed browsing there. Thank you for your dedication to finding another photo sharing solution. Now, to figure out how to join so I can post a tink skirt I just finished.

I love it! My DH would totally wear that! What pattern did you use?

Mine still show pending but if I put a tag on them, they will show up in the tags only I think??

I just went shopping at Disneyshopping.com :scared1: I bought the "create your own polo shirt" for the boys ($12.99) and DH($15.99) I bought them all red ones with Mickey logos and DH a black one with a grumpy logo :lmao: Now the boys can be matchy when the girls wear Minnie dot. I wanted to get some cute Tigger ones for breakfast at Plaza Inn (similar character breakfast to Crystal Palace) but Luke only wanted pirates or power rangers or Jack Skellington, not the cute tigger one. :confused3 Oh and I did get reservations for Blue Bayau for my trip in 2 weeks with DD!   I'm so happy to have something(s) Disney to plan for! :dance3:

Seriously....you all are awesome! Thanks Teresa and all your helpers for setting up that terrific non-controversial photobucket acct! I call that taking lemons and making lemonaid! :stir: Hopefully it will be less work for you too!:thumbsup2

As an aside...why do the smileys keep shifting around??? I love the ducking one... :duck: Ok, carry on ladies and Tom! :bitelip:

Thank you!!! And, it bugs me that smileys move around too!!!! Why can't they just stay in the same spot!!!
Uh-Oh....
WHAT did I do wrong???
I posted 25 pictures last night and they read pending when I went to bed. THey are now GONE- except for the first pic I posted.

I logged in and now I can see them- but they still say "pending" what does that mean and why did 1 pic get approved and the others are all pending?

I was tired, that's all, and my computer was and is running really slowly!!!

I think Teresa set it up so that she has to approve all pics (since she is the account owner, she's responsible for what's posted there). I'm sure she'll approve them as soon as she gets a chance.

Yep! :thumbsup2 You got it Shannon!!! I tried doing a bunch last night, but I was drained, completely drained.

Hmm, I wonder why you can't get on?? Of course, I couldn't even get the page to load up last night. If you PM me your email address, I will send you a direct invitation to the group, maybe that will help.

And, are you signing into your own Photobucket account first? I would try that, then try to log into the group. Or, if you are logged into your personal photobucket account, try logging out of that before logging onto the group album.

I hope that made sense! Rereading it, it seems about as clear as mud!

Thank you!!! I think I am going to like the Photobucket group a lot better! It really took a lot of time to keep up the other account.

And, for those wondering why your pictures are not approved, and other peoples are, I'm just trying to click on them in the order that they are on the site, I think it shows me the last ones put up first. I will probably change it to immediately approve pictures later on today. It also gives me the option of deleting anything inapropriate. So, if anyone does see something inapropriate, please PM me, and I'll take care of it.

Ok....so I just made my 1st shirred top for Violette and yea...um....it looks like it will fit on her doll. I didn't have a pattern so I just measured across her chest and down to wear I wanted it to land but it's like a tiny doll tube dress :lmao: um...anyone know of any good shirred top patterns I can get ahold of? lol... I'm doing the shirring right, it's just the shape and measurements that aren't working out so great.

When I made my dresses, I just doubled the chest measurement & then made it however long I needed. They fit great. I forget where I read that though.

Help - I can't get into the new photobucket! MIL gave us a whole new supply of outfits, I had kids willing to model on a sunny day and I got the pictures onto the computer. I want to share these with everyone!

Thanks TJ and Eeyore's Tiara - it finally let me on. . . I think it must have been because it was overloaded or something. . . I was logged on each time I tried, and it finally worked :) YEAY :rotfl:

I love the shirt!!!! You did a great job on that!!! And your daughter and her dress are adorable!!!!!

I think it's just really busy right now. I couldn't get on last night either. Try again a little later. If you put the pictures into your own Photobucket account, you can also add them to the group account later.

Yeah!!! I saw that you got in!! I'm glad it worked!

I had the same problems but it worked a little while later!!

Thank you so much for all of the mickey heads - you are truly wonderful friends XXXXX

Heather sent me an email this morning, and she wanted me to share with all you guys (she was running out for the day and didn't have time to post)

I just want to tell you that I logged into our wonderful disboutique photobucket account and I actually cried. All of those women contributed to our pictures. I am just so happy about it! I'm going to be gone for the day, so if you could tell everyone that they made my day, that'd be great.

:lovestruc And, I feel the same way ladies and gentleman! :lovestruc

Glad to hear the new Photobucket account is working well. Sounds like a much better system. I need to add some of my photos. It sounds like it is easy if you already have your photos in photobucket.

I am really sorry if I contributed to some of the issues going on. I really wanted to help but I don't think I came across that way. I was not trying to :stir: stir the pot. I only wanted to try to resolve it. :duck:

I do apologize though.

I have been trying out my new machine. Here is what I have done.

IMG_6335.jpg

IMG_6338.jpg

I really would like the stitching to be more dense but the machine's manual says it isn't adjustable. Does anyone have any tips?

I also want to make a Mickey Head. Is there anyone out there with a Futura Machine to point me in the right direction? I have a Future 150. I didn't get the digitizing software.

I think someone offered to pm me a seller with some Disney Designs?? Is that how I get a Mickey Head?

Well I can't log in to the Photobucket account. NOT due to anything Photobucket related. SOMEONE who shall remain nameless (yes Teresa and Heather you met him LOL) in an attempt to "help" DELETED a bunch of things from my computer. I can't log into ebay, hotmail or open a ton of things.

So I am sewing. But I can't show any pictures because I can't log into photobucket! (I can't even get the smilies to load)

MEN! (sorry Tom)

I've only posted a couple of times. I'm not sewing anything, don't really know how to sew much, and don't have time if I did - working entirely too many hours a week, BUT I love fabric, and adorable kids, and Disney, and puppies - and all the other things I get to enjoy here! Thanks for sharing your cute outfits and even cuter, precious children! And I know y'all don't feel like you know me, but I feel like I know so many of you!! And if I ever do decide to sew I definitely know where to come for help.

Guys look how pretty. lovespoohbear fixed my picture for me. Isn't she a sweety?!!
th_S2010178-1.jpg

That is such a sweet thing for someone to do!

Keep up the fantastic work everyone!!!!
