Ok....so I just made my 1st shirred top for Violette and yea...um....it looks like it will fit on her doll. I didn't have a pattern so I just measured across her chest and down to wear I wanted it to land but it's like a tiny doll tube dress um...anyone know of any good shirred top patterns I can get ahold of? lol... I'm doing the shirring right, it's just the shape and measurements that aren't working out so great.

careful with the caps in photobucket, we are getting multiples on categories/tags because we are using different capitalizations in all our excitement to get this thing up! I love it and hopefully it is much less work for Heather and Teresa!

I use shirring sometimes on Carla's portrait peasant top.

I added a few pictures to the new Photo Bucket account. Is someone adding tags? I added a tag, went to do the rest, and they were all done! If that's you, THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!!

make sure that you type the tag the way the catergory is set up including capitals or it will create a new supcategory. I had to go delete a tag from one of mine because I didn't use caps and then I used caps and it went into teh existing category. I hope that makes sense. I am super tired. I have lots more pics, in fact ones that I have never shared before from our last trip of the kids in thier customs but I have to go through tons of cds to get them so that will be for another day.

Okay, I feel stupid....I figured it out. You can add more than one tag for each picture. Let's just say I'm heavily medicated. Does that sound better than technically inept?

I think we could do both--just a general princess category, since many things are not specific to a certain single princess, then individual categories for the main princesses. You can put multiple tags on a photo.

I was doing that too. I think it says you can have up to 20 tags per picture. i don't think we'll need that many for each picture, but it is nice to be able to put a few.

I put an image in there to test it. I just logged on w/my personal photobucket username.

ETA I also figured out how to transfer photos directly from my photobucket to the group one. Yay me!

when you are in the group album and you go to upload images and video, on the right is a box that says from: and you click my computer (default), my album or web URL so you can just click my album and it will bring up your photos for you to choose from

I also just decided, when tagging my photos, to pull up the photobucket account in two windows so I can look right at the list of tags and try not to mess it up!

I THINK that you can only edit the pics that you enter.

When you go into the group account, where it says upload, there is a button that you click on that says "My Album". Click on that, it will pull up your photobucket album(s), and you can select the pics you want to add from there.

I tried to edit those tags for us, but my internet is running really slowly tonight.

It's been a LOOOOOOONG day, and I'm exhausted, so I'm heading to bed now. I'll try to fix that in the morning.

If anyone feels up to writing a little how to for putting the pictures into the group account, please feel free to do so. I tried to do it in the first thread, but I doubt I was very clear! Just PM it to me and I'll add it on. And, of course, you can always post it in the thread.

That was me that just posted the Minnie Mouse pics in the new photobucket account...just wanted to make sure you knew it wasn't some psycho adding pictures...although I have been stalking the board for the past few days. I chose to stay out of it during all the, ahem, trauma.

Anyway, in light of recent things, I'd like to share my vintage minnie - I had originally held it back from posting here and I did put it on a while back. But I'm hoping that people don't stop sharing their wonderful creations, so I know I'm going to continue sharing mine. WOW that is great!!!! I got a New Serger this weekend. It is not nearly as exciting as an embrodery maching, but it is something I have been wanting. It is also a birthday present, three weeks early.

I love your skirt! I have been really working up the nerve to try one. Not sure how it will come out with my lack of sewing skills though so I keep puttin it off.

When it asked for description I typed in the patterns I used. That way if anyone clicks on it, they can see! I've been working on my Big Give outfit! It is almost done, but my kids are keeping me from finishing it. I can't believe they want to be fed and played with?

I think that is a great idea to put the pattern info in!


Tomorrow I am going to try and add the few things I had on the old site up. I am to tired tonight to go much further and the sad thing is I got nothing accoplished today lol.
