Hi, I'm stepping out of lurkdom for a moment to post a shirt that I CASE'd. I got the criss cross pattern from YCMT and let my nieces pick any fabric for a matching shirt. I was delighted when they went with Minnie dot! Woo hoo! I only have one of the shirts done so far, I'll post the two girls together when I get the other one done.

With a shirt under it so she can wear it to school...

I love YCMT. It really helps newbies like me to have photos to go along with a pattern. I also made the handbag that everyone posted pics of awhile back. I never posted mine. It didn't turn out as cute as I wanted.

Back to lurkdom...:goodvibes

Very cute! Your neices have good taste!

Thank you! I'm not giving up yet, he once took a trip to a town about an hour away from us! I keep thinking I hear him, but when I open the door, he's not there. :sad2:

Our cat "disappeared" a little over a year ago. I still "hear" her sometimes :confused3 usually when I am in my basement craft room and I swear she is in the window well--which she is not nor ever has been, there is a grate covering it. We have foxes living nearby so she is not the first cat to go missing. :sad1: And we can't get a new one because we usually have all the family gatherings at our house and I have an allergic BIL who used to either not come or stay outside. But we are getting a puppy! :scared1:  :scared1:

I finished this this morning. I think it is one of my favorites and Morgan LOVES it! (She stood over me until I finished it LOL)

I used the pink Tinkerbell (finally found a little bit at a store yesterday-my store never got it) and my new computerized machine :rotfl:

And this is what she wore to the Toy Story Mania preview.

Love the Morgan pics. Even the "real morgan" that sounds like something my kids would cry over :confused3 Especially Luke, when he is tired, he is very irrational.

I have had similar (if not the same) tink fabric since before I even was preggers w/ Little. I saw it and snagged it in case I ever had a girl:rotfl: Now I have that and a blue tone on tone tink fabric too....I need to come up w/ a plan for them:confused3 I suppose I will use them seperately. This outfit is too cute!

As promised here are the pics of Little in her new dress. I'm leaving them big b/c they were taken on DH's blackberry and are not the best pics so it's hard to see the fabric design in them.

As you can see, I was having a hard time getting her attention...this is why

The one picture I think she has her knees bent under the dress b/c it looks too long, but it wasn't. I did make it an inch too long and an inch to narrow cause my MIL and I decided that the width came first in the measurement . We were wrong, but figured it out too late and, eh, what's an inch?

Lookit pretty Little! Hi from her buddy Lily! She looks adorable. I think I will have to buy that pattern today!

LOVE it! Did you use the machine on the white decorative hem on the top? That is cool! I should start using some of those stitches.

VERY cute! How was the ride?

OK! Someone should have warned me. I just picked up my machine from having it serviced. The timing was off, and the bobbin case had to be replaced. I was really surprised at the cost of having this done. $108.19! I could have almost bought a new machine for that amount of money. I was really surprised!

Hi everybody!!! I see my sister has been posting up a storm already. But, I just finally got on here to check in with you all.

We had a WONDERFUL trip! I got to meet 3 disboutiquers (Stephres, Livndisney, Disney4Me, and Krispy) another Diser (Marsh0013), and a Diser's husband (who was stuck holding the diaper bag with her lime green mickey head on it). I was so excited to meet them all! Teresa and I are planning on doing a TR. I even took notes for it on some days.

Just skimming the last few pages, I see pictures of my gorgeous little sweetie-pie Morgan. I LOVE her!! Has she made me a picture for my fridge yet, Cindee? I also see that T's Lily is looking so grown up all of a sudden!

I'm glad to be back and mostly unpacked (only one bag left). I had to get groceries today because our cupboards were bare.

I missed you guys! :grouphug:

:welcome: to all the newbies!!!

Welcome back Teresa and Heather!

I have spent literally all day working on Megan's Alice dress and it is done. I would show you pictures but my computer is failing to recognize my card for some reason.

Anyway, it did not come out the way I wanted it to and there are plenty of mistakes but it is done and she seems happy with it. Or course there is a purse included with the pattern and she asked where her matching purse is. :headache: At least it will be easier than the dress I hope!

Well, DH just got home and there are dirty dishes in the sink and I can hear Jacob just playing random notes on the piano instead of practicing so I'd better scoot. I'll try to catch up later.

I met Castle Creations on our trip. Whoohoo! :woohoo:

Alright Chicks, I am off for the night. It's time to pick up my little ( or middle as the case may be:sad2: ) from "school".

See ya'll tomorrow!

So I finally got the sewing machine set up and working right, figured out the bobbin and threading the needle. Yay me! And I started in on the Little Einsteins' criss cross dress for Erin. What do you think so far?

th_Einsteinsstart.jpg

That's going to be great when it's finished :)

And Welcome Home Teresa, Heather and Family - come on ladies I'd have expected your report to be handed in by now ;) :teacher:

EGADS!! I didn't forget about you!! I honestly thought I'd typed your username in. Sorry!! I even saw you twice!
Now I'm going to have to go back and see how bad I looked in the picture you posted! ;)

Hi Everyone...
Tom---you constantly amaze me. I love the bag, It's beautiful. You and LisaZoe have such an eye for fabrics..I don't seem to have that talent..:confused3
I started my appliqued outfit today. I'm doing panels, but haven't decided if they will be in a dress or skirt and top...
Can anyone tell who they are?

Eric is still a little wet...paint that is..

I recognize Ursula and Vanessa. That is the same applique that is on a leg of a custom outfit I bought on Ebay last month. Is that where you got the inspiration?

Actually I had the coloring page saved in my file of must do projects...on my computer and I couldn't believe when I saw that outfit. I wasn't certain how it would come out, but after seeing that one, I decided to try it. Mine won't be a villian outfit, but I did love that one listed...if you bought it..you must have paid a mint for it..but I bet it was worth it..:)

Yes, that is the one I bought. It did turn out beautiful and yes, it cost a mint but it is worth every penny!;) I love it because it is so original.

I'm downloading pictures right now, from yesterday. I have to say..I'm not a plant person. My mother owns a nursery and I do NOT have that inherited trait. I have a black thumb, opposed to her green one. But Epcot was just stunning yesterday. The plant people that work there are amazing!!! Everywhere you looked, it was just breath taking..I didn't take as many photos as I should have..boo hoo..
As I said earlier, the stepsisters loved Ireland's dress. I decided to let her wear it, instead of sell it. I might list it as a resell. The stepsisters could only see her it in once...LOL

These are some of the pictures I took..I love the pink and purple flowers..I won't even try to spell hy--drain-ge-a..LOL...:rotfl2:
