:rotfl: Zoe thought the skirt was cute but she didn't mention wanting one. ;) Actually, I'm worried she won't wear the sets I'm making for her to wear on our trip. She's mentioned a couple times that she might just wear jeans and a tee! :scared1: I've decided it might be best to pack while she's asleep or at school so I can pack only what I want. :rolleyes1

Oh, I definitely am the same. Zoe didn't have anything special to wear for any of the recent holidays except Halloween and Christmas nor for the 100th day of school.

As for the jean legs, I don't know what I'll do with them. I have quite a few of these hoping to get some inspiration. LOL I did use one leg from different jeans for a bodice of a dress once. I should do another one.
I pan on packing for Jenna while she is asleep also. I will have to post a pic of the skirt I made for Jenna using an old pair of jeans that the button had broken on.
I finished Lily's goldfish skirt. I think I like buying a top and making a skirt to match. These are the bows I ordered on :wizard: I think they are GINORMOUS but they are cute. Do you think they are too much? I can wait until her head grows into them. :rotfl:

That outfit is too cute. I love her crying face. She looks like she is really crying.
Thanks! I particularly treasure the "crying on santa's lap" photos!
Jenna never cried when she saw santa so I don't have any of those, but I do agree that those are cute pics.

jham - she looks adorable in her bows!! I like the M2M skirts too. i haven't made on yet though.

I have a bunch of outfits to post tonight. I'll have to wait to get the pictures uploaded and the kiddos off to bed.

Here is a pillocase dress I finished today. I should have been able to just "whip it up" but somehow life gets in the way.

This is sooooo cute and I love the bows!!!

I just wanted to post so y'all didn't think I dropped off the face of the earth! I have been having some computer issues. But, I just got a new computer this weekend, so I'm back in business! I've been pretty busy trying to get things in order for our trip. Only TEN MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!

Tessa already has 11 outfits (one made by Aunt Teresa) for our 10 days at Disney, so I'm done sewing for her. Sawyer has 5 mommy-made outfits, so he's good, too. I just need to hem up my Minnie capris and finish making some iron-on shirts for the family. Then, I need to make a list of stuff to pack. If I don't do that, I tend to freak out that I've missed something.

I went shopping yesterday and bought myself 3 pairs of capris, 5 shirts, and 2 bras (not an easy thing to find). I was so excited because it's been a while since I bought myself much. I didn't just get a bunch of plain t-shirts like I usually do. No, I got myself some t-shirts with fancy necklines! :rotfl2:

Tessa's sick today (throwing up), so I need to give her some extra lovin'. Her kindergarten testing is tomorrow, so I hope she feels better by then!

Anyway, I won't have time to catch up on here right now. I just wanted to check in with you!

Oh, I put some video reviews on expotv that you might be interested in watching. I reviewed my Brother CS6000i sewing machine and my ruffler foot. They didn't pay me for the ruffler foot review because it didn't meet their new standards and that really irks me. So, if you like it, click "yes" where it asks if you found the review helpful.

Here's the ruffler foot review:

Will you PM your seller because I think we bought the same bows! LOL I bought the same shirt and shoes for Sophee and the older girls version for Hannah. I also got some cherry baby shirts and some turtle shrits to do skirts for the girls.

It looks great!

Hi everyone! I know I haven't been on lately, but I have been lurking every now and again when I can! Life is just crazy for us at the moment! Too much and too bad to go into detail, so I won't! No need to get anyone depressed! Anyway, I haven't gotten any sewing done lately, just one outfit I made for my niece that I got absolutely NO pics of!:confused3 It was for her birthday and it turned out sooo cute I think I will make Sydni one! We will see! OKAY, now for my question.... I am looking for the MM ta dot fabric in berry I think?:confused3 It is pink with darker pink polka dots. Does anyone have any or know where I can get some? My problem is I only need 1/2yard and everywhere I find that will sell my 1/2yard charges OUTRAGEOUS shipping! I really don't want to wind up paying over $10 for 1/2y of fabric!:scared1: Sooo, if anyone can help me out I would really appreciate it!!! Just pm me or let me know! TIA for all of your help! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Awwwww! She is so cute--and so is the outfit.

My mother used to make bows for my hair and they always were big. Fortunately, I had a big head to go with them! *LOL*

Very nice! :)

Aaahhhhhh I finally finished this! I actually had a skirt about 50% done when I put a big hole in the denim as I tried to remove some stitching (stupid hem of the other side got caught in the stitches). Since I couldn't find a plain denim skirt in the right size, I had to improvise and convert a pair of jeans. Anyway, after buying a second pair of jeans, I started over and this time the skirt remained whole. LOL This is the first time I've done the ribbon "fringe"... and I think it will be something I do again soon.

BTW - I'm SO glad Zoe's no longer in the tiny sizes like this set!!! I can't believe how much harder it was to do the applique on this (it's a 2T).

This is so cute. Such hard work. You are so talented!

Here is a picture of my new outfit I made the other day :)

This is really cute. I need to try a pillowcase dress. I haven't attempted one yet. I have too many projects lined up!

The pettiskirt from Disney is nowhere near as full as the other ones I see on here, but it will do. It is really cute. The outside material is not soft, but it does have a lining to protect my little ones legs!

The sheet I used for my minnie skirt I got at Goodwill for $2. I washed it up good first!
